  1. Looks like an omen to me. Gave me goosebumps.
  2. You have no idea how much I'd give to have one of those in my hands.
  3. You deserve a better front wheel choice.
  4. I've got a treasured Danbury Mint LE 1931 and your model looks at least as good if not better detailed. A coupe details definitely better. Any chance to see the underside??
  5. There are currently practical limits to what can be done with 3D printing. The long spokes are extremely difficult to print due to length and very much so due to the shallow angles of them relative to the axle axis. Hand lacing using a jig is not that difficult. I can see where hubs and rims designed for hand lacing might be good. Randy is printing wheels that would be very difficult to hand lace, even with a jig. Ask me how I know, but please don't ask me.
  6. Rodder"s Journal is more a collectable book series than a magazine. And I might add, the best that real hotrodders could ever hope for.
  7. The gin pole trucks also have versions where the pulley ends remain connected and the poles fold forward and rest on a rack at the back of the cab. Makes the gin poles mor obvious and the model more interesting IMHO.
  8. I'd rate Randy's wire spoke wheels a couple cuts above decent, maybe a few cuts.
  9. Watched at 1.5 speed. Incredible talent. Then watched Making a woman in white dress. Even more incredible.
  10. I posted that and I have to agree with too close to the edge. I'll attempt to take it down by edit.

  12. How many sheets on that Ike's roll?? Looks a little skimpy, although it is embossed. What are you supposed to do with the sandwich?
  13. I visited the Hormel tourist museum last September. Ate fried spam and egg breakfast every day for about ten years in Taiwan. Spam was 100% safe and predictable. Local bacon and sausage not so much. Original version only.
  14. I'm loving the spark plugs and wires in particular.
  15. You know you can email tp. Just attach image of a sheet, 6 will fit on one A4, print and you're good to go.
  16. Don't know about you, but I use the stuff and assumed some modellers do too. Maybe move the post to Tips and Tricks.
  17. I can't believe how unbelievably believable that truck is. Your story on the build time would be more believable if you said 15 days though. Still trying to determine if the setting is a diorama or not. I'm pretty sure the truck is a model. I have a secret way to tell.

Look at the date, May last year is when I got sidetracked with your Ardun V12. Happened again with the B12. No fault of yours and I'm not complaining. I enjoy it. Only problem I have is completing the final steps of the projects I start. I usually hit a little snag and then look for a distraction. I'm working on getting the V12 printed now. My effort to correct my bad habit.
  19. The job of providing food primarily at home probably falls mostly on your wives by default for traditional households. I know many men like to cook but for those that don't your job should include any household jobs you're capable of. I'm reminded of my respect for women every time I contemplate my belly button with the realization that it is what connected to my Mom to give me life.
