well about 4 years ago I had right around 2000 unbuilt kits have sold some and have bought some but going to try and sell most of them later on as i know i have way to many

I have one and have shot Automotive lacquer, automotive enamel and Eurothane through it. Liked it just as well asmy eclipse and my Paasche VL's. It even shot the eurothane clear with pearl in it as well. Mine is the Gravity feed one. I liked itwell enough that when i accidently dropped it and broke the cup off of it that i went out and bought another one.

I just use my Excel knife handle for mine.Mine is split clear across to form an x on the end of the ball when i tighten it. It clamps like the pin vise but tighter in the middle. Haven't used a pin vise for my smaller bits in years.

Everybodies builds are looking fantastic! I need to get back to work on minr got side tracked trying my hand at pinstriping.

I have some o this paint but I haven't tried it yet. It is pretty thin as i opened a can to just look at it. i don't think it will need to be thinned. I wouldn't have bought what i have but advance auto had it clearanced for $7 a quart

Well I did just look and my decals are Wetworks decals for 98 and 2000. Have fun building it they are not really that bad just takes a long time to decal them

I may still have that set of decals I know i have a few sets. I had them on the bay and never sold maybe we can make a deal

Dang been colder than most of you here in kansas. Only been getting in the 30's and 40's all last week for the highs. Might get up to 50 today

I have never had Duplicolor Clear paint yellow. The 56 chevy in my avatar is still white after 5 or 6 years now.

Never get models for Christmas as my wife thinks i have way to many. I did get4 Cans of Testors enamel paints and a Ultra Sonic cleaner. Most got some clothes. We did have to scrape for money as it has been short this year but it is like that every year around here.

Well Let's see I finished one that was started 2 years ago. I built a couple for the model car show that were given away as door prizes. Bought between 30 and 40 new kits and bought 5 or 6 resin bodies. I sold over 100 kits and that paid for everything i bought.Hopefully going to get a few built this year as i have been really motivated for the first time in years.

When I shoot HOK paints I use Duplicolor Clear either out of the can or decamted into the bottle for my Airbrush. he testors Wet Look Clear Or Modelmasters ultra clear i use over the testors one Coat or their lacquers. Also Have Shot Testors Clear Like Donn does over some as Well. I Have some Eurothane Clear I had left from my Daugher car That I like As well. With it I don't have to worry about the basecoat as it works good over them all.

I like the Paasche VL and the Iawata eclipse Both are double action and are under $200. Ifyou have a HoBBy Lobby around they usually carrie these and this week they have a 40% coupon and could get either one for under $100. I Use a Campbell Hausfeld compressor for them. Bought it at Walmart for around $70 or under can't remember for sure. It has like a 3 or 3 gallon tank and has a built in regulator. Alos you can check out Dixie art for the Airbrushes Seems they are the cheapest to me and they also carry replacementparts if you ever need them.Here is the link http://www.dixieart.com/

I realized about 4 years ago that i had more than i would ever build. So every year at our contest i sell abunch off. i still buy some of the new ones that come out but just stick to the subjects i want to build.

Super Clean takes off even that stubborn chrome and it takes off the underlying clear as well. It is the only thing i use.

So what do you use in it to clean your airbrushes? Lacquer thinner or water Or what? Thinking of buying one for myself for Christmas

taht is all I got done this year as well. But i have worked on about 15 and all that is more than i did all last year!

Actually went and looked and got the name wrong it is blue blood red. Yes that is whati thought to when I bought the color
