Thanks Mike. Yeah black with red stripe’s and the turquoise with white stripes are my favorite combo’s for the chargers.

Thank You. Yours is coming along nice too. For the wood in the console I lightly mixed Tamiya flat brown and flat earth and brushed it on. Tried to grab both colors together but separately if that makes any sense.

Painted the body and applied the decals. Ready for clear coat and the wait for it to cure before wet sanding, polishing. and doing the mouldings.

Love Mopars especially Hemi cars.Engine looks good. Following this one.

Coming along nice there bill. Looking forward to serving it done.

Congratulations. What a beautiful build. Very well done.

That body looks real nice. Yeah I think the issues you pointed out are the only real issues with this model. bill-e-boy also pointed them out in his post. I also added styrene the the rear left to build it up a little and just sanded the mold lines near the rear window. He also filled in a injection dent at the front top of the passenger door but I left that alone.

Looking good. I’m doing the same kit.

Was hoping to get some color on the body but I ran into a little snag. I’m decanting the Tamiya rattle can paint and airbrushing it on but I didn’t have the right nozzle size or laquer thinner. Until everything gets delivered parts are pretty much ready for assembly.

Just finished my first diorama! Asbury, NJ streets!

Great job. I like the way you put your hand in some of the shots to prove it’s a diorama. -
I also use oven cleaner and agree about not using the fume free version. I bought a can of the blue cap fume free thinking it would work and had to leave the parts soaked in a zip loc sandwich bag overnight. It did work but not as good as the normal cleaner.

Ordered mine last night from Spotlight. Was waiting for a better kit to be released. Looking forward to building it. -
Been busy with work so this slowed down a little but I got the rear end done with brake lines. Hope to get started on painting the body this weekend.

Looking good. I’ve been thinking about picking this kit up. Looking forward to see how it comes out and what you think of it. This is one of my favorite years for the Mustang. I had two 71 Mach 1’s and really like this body style.

Looks real good. I want to do a nice Ferrari but I’m torn between Tamiya and Alpha Models.

Doing black with red bumblebee stripe.
-
Thank you. It’s a little too intricate for me to attempt with BMF and paint wouldn’t of came out straight enough. Also used it for the door panels. The straight trim pieces, around the handles, and on the sides of the console.

And a few mocking up the interior and chassis in the body. I’m trying to figure out the best way to assemble it. The instructions say to attach the firewall to the interior tub but I think I’m going to glue the firewall to the body so it will blend into the body better when I spray the body like the real car.

Thanks guys. Motor pretty much done. Just have to figure out what I’m going to do for an air filter.

My daughter gave me this kit for Christmas. It’s a 2in 1 but I’m going to combine aspects of both versions. Going to do a stock 426 Hemi car with the dog dish hubcaps. Starting with the engine. Oh yeah. Going black with red bumblebee stripes.
