  1. That does look grape…I mean GREAT!? You did that in a weekend? It takes me longer than that to decide on a color.?
  2. I like the gluing in a chunk of styrene. The only other way I can think of would be to use an epoxy putty like Milliput. I would drill some small holes in the broken edges…something for the putty to key into. Or better yet, glue some short pins into the holes. The putty could be sculpted very close to the finished contours, with just a bit of finish sanding required. Just another option.?‍♂️
  3. That is one mighty fine looking GTO!?
  4. Them dang AMT instructions ain’t very detailed.
  5. Nice Dennis! I love all the little details and wiring you do.? I like the black better than the primer…it’s got a bit of a sinister look to it. Just my $0.02 ?.

  12. Thanks Guys! I’ve decided that there just isn’t enough room under the hood for those parallel rod type hinges.? So I came up with this mono-hinge instead, using .025”x 1/4” brass.
  13. Cool project?…and I think your username suits you.?

    64 GTO

Nice work!? I have one of these started, but stalled. I always like seeing examples of what mine could look like if I get back to it.?
  18. It looks mighty nice to me Keith!? Those rally wheels look great on any ‘50s thru ‘70s Chevy.?
  19. Thank You all for the appreciation,?.
  20. As a kid, I mounted this thing in the only model airplane I ever built. I don’t recall what it was, but it was military, and styrene with about an 8” wingspan. Likely way too heavy.? I fastened two eye hooks to it and strung up a taut fishing line for it to hang on, and lit it up.? I don’t recall it actually moving under its own power though??
  21. Great looking pair! The Futura is awesome.?
  22. Great movies and great models!? Nicely done!?
  23. Wow, you’ve been busy Steve! All are great looking, but The ‘37 Ford I think is my favourite.?
