  1. Beautiful work Chuck! I love that colour. I use the spray through a straw method of decanting too. I don’t allow any extra time for degassing either. It would have wound up on your model if sprayed from the can, so going a second time through an airbrush degasses it plenty.
  2. Yes, nice work on it. The dash looks great.
  3. I think the biggest problem with the kit piece is the diff cover shape and location. You could replace it with a scratch built one. I downsized a photo of a real one and used it as a pattern for the flange.
  4. Line to me won’t change the facts.
  5. It is the rear differential. The molded in cover is offset too far to the right in the picture. If it was moved slightly to the left it wouldn’t be a bad looking diff. I think the cover bolts are not well defined either. It is not near as nice as those 3D printed ones though!?
  6. Difference between the same model subject from different manufacturers can be immense.
  7. Suit of the flame retardant type is needed on a lot of forums these days.
  8. Wow! Absolutely awesome work as usual Charles. Your attention to detail and scratch building skills are second to none.?
  9. Well good luck with it.? And I fixed the link in my thread.
  10. If you scroll down a bit in this thread, Art does a great tutorial on building leaf springs in case you should be in need of new ones.
  11. Hello Dave. Nice to see another 4x4 Guy on here. Here is my thread on how I built mine. And one on building driveshafts.
  12. Does everyone post on the same thread, or start their own thread?

  20. That is a beautiful looking car! Well done.?
  21. Nice work on the silk purse Dave! I was going to suggest that you could likely build a windshield frame, but I see you’ve already considered that possibility. Good luck with her.?
  22. Beautiful work Roger!? What did you do for intake pipes or air filters on that engine?
