Excellent work. It is beautiful!?

Good solution Pete. It should work fine. I am waiting on some k&s 1/32” brass tube that I intend to make hinges with.

Molotow Chrome Marker breakdown
NOBLNG replied to conchan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Have you pushed down on the tip to release more ink? It works like a little plunger, push the tip straight down a few times (not on your model) and it should work again. -

Yes, it looks like it’s had a hard life. Nice work on the weathering.? -

Let's See Some Glue Bombs!
NOBLNG replied to Snake45's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I gotta say, I love a glue bomb where the builder doesn’t scrape the chrome and paints EVERYTHING….including the glue points.? I think this one may even have used some kind of eco-glue? It’s definitely not the old orange tube Testors! And before disassembly and dunking, I would have sworn this was cast in black!? -
What do you want in life! Or at least in a kit
NOBLNG replied to conchan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Details are nice but in the aesthetically pleasing department, it is more important is to have an accurate body shape and scale. On the assembly side, definite, positive locating points for all parts (especially windows) would be really nice to have.? -
Nicely done!?

Really nice looking Bronco Ville!? Did you cast the air filters from a kit part or scratch build one? -
Sweet looking build!?

Sonny & Cher Mustang Colors - Opinions Wanted
NOBLNG replied to spencer1984's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
You could head over to Micheals and look at their craft paints. They have a bewildering array of colours. And they are cheap, so you could easily custom mix them if you can’t find one close enough. -
That looks absolutely perfect! The details in that engine bay are outstanding….the entire model is really.?
-
I’m not sure what that will fit into, but you could use either some .020” beading wire or a .014” guitar string inside of it.
-
That turned out beautifully Jim. ? I’ve built one and have another in the stash. I better check the windshield frame in it. Anyways, it’s a nice kit and a job well done there!

Groovy paint job! I like it,?

1963 Chevy Nova Wagon: Early 90’s Street Machine
NOBLNG replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in Model Cars
That is one sleek looking Wagon! I love all the details in the interior.? -
Not much to say about this one except that it is a nice kit. Built box stock except for the plug wires. I removed the hood trim in error, so I replaced it with some .020” craft wire. Thanks for the idea Matt!?

I picked this one up at the local flea market. It was partially assembled and painted so I disassembled as much as possible and stripped off the gold paint. It was missing one headlight, so I fabbed a couple new ones. The decals were missing too, so I downloaded some pics and printed the badges. It’s not a bad little kit except for the vague mounting points for the windshield and wind wings. Color is Tamiya white under Mr. Color #100 Wine Red and Revell gloss clear.
