Stepladder might work, but youβd be better off with a Genie.

Beautiful looking Road Runner Jim!ππ

Nice work, the wheels look good on it.π

Yes, that is looking sharp Charles!π

If I had to make something like this, I would first make a pattern from tape, then cut it out of thin styrene sheet, like 0.015β? Glue it on with Tamiya thin and then foil it. If it has compound curves like a funnel it could be made in a few sections and the seams puttied if necessary.

The downside of the hobby - what annoys you?

And another thingβ¦anytime I drop a part it canβt land on the floor between my feet. Noooo!..it has to bounce under the desk so I have to get out of my chair onto my hands and knees. Then I I gotta get back up to get the flashlight and change my glasses.π€― -

What I find most annoying is conspicuous sprue attachment points on chrome parts. Second would be extremely vague or non existent mounting points for parts. Third is tiny parts being launched across the room by my vindictive tweezers. -

I find by far the majority of members here are helpful, supportive and courteous. There are a few who like to argue over paint and glue etc. but I havenβt seen anyone get rude or abusive about someoneβs build. Personally, I mention on all my build threads that comments, good or bad are welcome. If a member does not ask for all comments, I will only PM constructive criticism to them if I feel like they could benefit from it. Edit: In this age of social media you need a bit of a thick skin. The main thing is to build what you want, how you want and have fun doing it. It is only a hobby after all. -
Beautiful work!π That colour really looks nice on it.π

Thanks Mark. Those are the kit pieces. They are a one piece chrome deal (C4) with a clear cover (E5). I inserted some clear lens from the parts box before putting the clear cover on.

Sweet! I like the chop and the overall attitude.ππ

This is a fairly nice little kit.π It is a super tiny little vehicle with an air cooled flat two cylinder engine. I detailed the engine a bit and scratch built some hood and trunk hinges and exterior door handles. Paint is Vallejo red. There are some body fitment issues that I note in my build tread here: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/199788-fujimi-toyota-s800/ Thanks for looking!π

Well after prying the body off again, I shaved some possible interference spots. I also measured the distance between the rocker panels and also the width of the floor pan. They are virtually identical so there is no way that the body is supposed to βclip inβ underneath the floor pan. So the gaps at the cowl and behind the seats is the way that the kit is designed. If I were ever to build another, I would add some material in these spots before any other bodywork. But it is what it is on this one, so I am calling it done.π₯΅ More pics under glass here: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/200167-fujimi-toyota-s-800/#comment-3015871
