  1. Cool!๐Ÿ˜Ž I didnโ€™t realize there were so few of them produced.
  2. Obsolete and rare model kits can fetch astronomical prices.
  3. I think it looks great the way it is.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  4. When I was 16 (1977) I had a chance to buy a 1956 BelAir convertible sitting in a farmers field for $500.00. The roof was shot and interior in bad shape. But there was not a speck of rust on it because it had a tow bar on the front and 1964 California plates on it. Being 16, I wanted something I could drive so I bought a โ€˜67 Falcon instead.๐Ÿ˜•
  5. Cool video! Thanks for posting it. I sent it on to my buddy that has a train setup in his garage.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  6. Wife probably wouldnโ€™t mind a โ€œgas poweredโ€ Maserati for an anniversary gift.
  7. Try bestmodelcarparts on ebay. Not sure if they are decals or just printed?
  8. One thing I know about the panel line accent is that it has great โ€œwickingโ€ ability. That is why it works so well for panel lines. it will wick into corners and along seams or edges, but will not cover any flat surfaces.
  9. Thanks for your interest, encouragement and patience everyone!๐Ÿ™‚ I am kinda making this up as I go alongโ€ฆtrying to fix issues as they arise.๐Ÿฅด Iโ€™ve never really been good at making a plan and sticking to it. I have a general idea of where I want to go but usually wind up changing tack a number of times due to unforeseen issues or just whims.๐Ÿคช
  10. Nice work Seth! I really like the engine and your home built turbo setup!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

  12. Nice start Allen.๐Ÿ‘ Is that a frame building jig I see in the background?
  13. Itโ€™s looking real nice Len!๐Ÿ‘ I like the newspaper bundles.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  14. I think Iโ€™d have the same issues mounting the grill and radiator. I donโ€™t like the raised spring mount thoughโ€ฆI think it looks a bit scary.๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  15. The paint job looks beautiful Bob!๐Ÿ‘
  16. Mile is something I would not walk for a camel.
  17. Beautiful, simple, clean buildTim. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. I know how itโ€™ll end upโ€ฆ.FABULOUS!๐Ÿ˜Ž Terrific work so far Dennis.๐Ÿ‘
  19. And I managed to keep the full height of the grill and it doesnโ€™t sit too high in relation to the body in my eye.๐Ÿค“
  20. Well I had a bit of a conundrum about how to mount the radiator and grill. Moving the axle out in front of the frame rails creates a problem for both the grill and the steering system.๐Ÿคฏ At first I had the grill shaved and tucked in between the frame and axle. That left no space for the tie rod. The solution that I finally decided on was to move the grill out in front of the axle. Very limited suspension travel now, so I will have to avoid speed bumps.๐Ÿ˜ฌ I sectioned the kit radiator and mounted it backwards in the grill shell. Then I used thin CA to glue some fine mesh to a piece of.010โ€ styrene sheet for the front of the radiator. The new setup leaves lots of room for the tie rod and whatever fan setup I decide on. Thanks for your Patience everyone.๐Ÿฅด
  21. โ€˜85 Plymouth Reliant?๐Ÿคช
  22. Yepโ€ฆโ€™64-โ€˜65, maybe more years?
  23. Plot your course carefully or you may get lost.
  24. Saying incorrect things intentionally will get you a lump of coal in your stocking.
