  1. That's another mishap,I bought one bottle of a green glows under black light that covered well but due to the mistakes I ran out. None to be found so I buy this color and it would not cover so there are several heavy costs and it still looks uneven.the color is lighter on the web pics than it really is. Thanks everyone for the lQQks!
  2. Welcome to the jungle. Fine work on the S&H Ford
  3. This was the most frustrating build i have ever done, and 99% of the problem was me! Went to the HL looking for the "66" revel Impala but for some unknown reason i picked up this 65 Foose and noticed the box was damaged, looked like it might have gotten wet but what looked like the factory tape was still sealed i took a chance and bought it.now why i did that is still a mystery.Upon opening the kit at home i noticed ,A its a 65,not a 66........DOH! So i figure keep it and move on.then i find no decals,no wories ill just get revell to send me some which they did.Have decals ,start building and notice ,no clear parts! Was able to buy the windows on the bay instead of trying to get Revell too so on i went. After several paint disasters this is what i have I dident use the 409 fender badge decal as im prety sure thats not a 409 in the kit, more like a 396 to me Body color is nail polish,
  4. The only thing i did to this that to me was a waste was the digital readouts on the cross and miter slides.the quick change tool post was worth every penny I did break the power feed drive gear but it was easy to get replacement parts, otherwise been a great lathe
  5. The spoils from the Saturday afternoon HL excursion
  6. This wont help with the learning curve but here is a lathe i bought new that is well suited for very light duty work but after i bought all the extras it still wasn't cheap. Being my working days included time as a tool maker this little tool is a mini version of the industrial type i used to run Grizzly has a web site with the current version of this lathe.this particular machine can also be found in other brand names.
