  1. Beautiful. We had a light yellow one when I was a kid. My was to be my step father ice raced it on Lake George when he first got it. Then gave it to my mother. We use to go to the beach in it. Us 4 boys, My 2 sisters. My mom and our dog Ringo. That was before seat belt laws were in effect.
  2. I trim about 20 shrubs and trees. I can usually do it on one charge. But I have extra batteries as I bought a whole 18 volt tool kit and they all work off the same 18 volt lithium batteries.
  3. Wow. That came out great! Nice build.
  4. 2014 Camry SE and a 2009 Venza. I drive the Venza most of the time because the Camry rides like it has no springs. And the last tank of gas in the Venza was a surprising 25.6 mpg. Combined driving with AC on half the time.
  5. Nice.
  6. I don’t see anything but blank boxes.
  7. Looks awesome.

    Buick GSX

    Looks great to me.
  9. Ditto. But do try to see most that is here.
  10. Yes. I went back and scored big time. I don't know how many kits and storage cases. Magnifier. Camo paint. Sprue cutter. And lacquer paint primer. I didn't even know there was such a thing. Good thing I saw it as my 1964 ford build has lacquer base and clear.
  11. Very nice and like the weathering
  12. Cool!
  13. Very cute.
  14. Very nice
  15. Wonderful! So glad everything is on a good path.
  16. Thanks guys. My sugar levels were off when I posted this. I'll keep trying and keep what mikemodeler said. I am building just for myself. I can't let the beautiful builds so many skilled model builder have in this forum. I just don't have that ability and knowledge let alone a well stocked local hobby shop near buy. And at 64. Don't have all that much time to be so fussy LOL!
  17. I’ll look into Tamiya paints then. I went and bought the Model Masters clear coats today and was surprised that the Enamel Top Coat is a Rust-oleum product. I’m wanting to recreate my 1964 Ford Galaxy I drove as a kid. It’s Phoenician Yellow and only yesterday realized it was a 2 part system.
  18. Seeing my local shop doesn’t carry Model Masters paint. I drove to my local Hobby Lobby which is 50 miles away. Scored. The woman was just starting to mark the kits down. She was nice enough to let me look and her list and I picked these kits up today for $7.49 each. There were about 12 kits to be marked down but I bought only what I didn’t have. Plus my clear coats. Anyone near Lake George and Latham should head out before they are all gone.
  19. I’m thinking I’ll just start building my models and not painting them at all. I’ve had so many problems trying to find compatible primer, paint and clear coat that it’s just not worth it any more. It’s taken the joy of building a kit away not knowing what’s going to happen. I have way over 200 kits and I’m going to start listing them on EBay. I guess this is to insure the companies who control the model building business the sale of more kits.
  20. I have a Model Master's yellow that says it need a clear coat. I have Testors clear coat spray. Does anyone know off hand if they are compatible seeing they are both made by Testors?
  21. They all look great!
