Trying to identify these built ups
jokar124 replied to Jonathan's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Here is the real Lotus 49B that matches up to the built model. If the built model is too large to be 1/24 scale, then it might be one of several 1/20 scale kits made by either Ebbro or Model Factory Hiro, but I haven't found a kit where every detail matches up exactly, although the tires do appear to be Ebbro's. -

Round2/ AMT '55 Chevy Nomad Wagon Kit Coming in 2023
jokar124 replied to stavanzer's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
If it's not too late, please try to correct the shape of the front turn signals. The early issues had correctly shaped "half moon" bezels, as on the box art, but when they were retooled for the sedan kits, they became "fat lemon" shapes. -

The first car is a Heller Formula 1 Lotus 49B, built and painted to resemble a McLaren The second Indy car is not a Lotus, it's MPC's Dan Gurney Olsonite Eagle, built as the Denny Hulme version. -

Everything seemed to be going well at my Ninth-birthday party dinner until the waitress arrived with the snack dips and I learned much to my chagrin that guacamole did not mean Whack-a-mole in Spanish

I once owned a resin/Bondo re-pop of this Tucker slushcast made by TKM Models back in the early 1980's. I think I paid $15 for it, but it was so bad I ended up trading it for a resin hood for an MPC '68 Barracuda, which was something that was actually usable.

Grill design requests

73-4 Dodge Dart grilles would be really handy to convert the recent reissues of the MPC 75 and 76 Dart Sport kits. They would be used for replica stock, pro stock drag racers, and Chrysler KitCar oval track and road course race builds. -

The Monogram kit was released originally as a '58 and later on as a '59, then modified into a '62 and sold as a Revell kit.
