I made the mistake of trying to paint the engine for my Thunderbolt 2 door wagon with a spray can that I had never used before. Of course I didn't do a test spray beforehand, what could possibly go wrong? I think the whole can emptied out with 1 squirt. The engine is now soaking in Super Clean. I guess that's what I get for being too lazy to get the airbrush and compressor out.

I 2nd this. I work for a silicone elastomers company and we use 91%-99% IPA to clean up our workbenches.

Createx paints, like most paints, are great if applied properly. I suggest going to their Youtube channel and checking out their videos. They give you all the information you need to know about how to thin and apply their paints. The rest is practice, practice, practice.

I'm a die-hard Mustang fan and generally like Foose's stuff, but I would have to pass on this. The wheels are ugly and everything else looks.........weird.

To the best of my limited knowledge it's the same kit with different decals. There is nothing but race oriented parts in the box.

Is the Street Burner version of the 64 Fairlane Thunderbolt eligible? If so, I would like to change my entry to that. I have the Tasca Ford version packed away somewhere, but I can't find it. And to help disguise it's competition intentions, I'm going to use a Jimmy Flintstone Fairlane wagon body.

Got a Jimmy Flintstone 64 Fairlane wagon along with PPP Holman Moody stock car wheels and Goodyear Nascar tires. Photo etch from Scale Motorsports and various paints from Hobby Lobby.

I've used Mr. Hobby without a problem. I will happily use whichever one is available to me.

All my cans have Rust-oleum on them. I only started using it about a year ago so I don't have anything to compare it to.

There were no marked down Testors paints at my nearest HL either. I was able to get 3 cans of aluminum plate buffing metalizer. No other metalizers though.

Dominion Energy. Our power has been out for 3 days due to an ice storm. That's not Dominion's fault, so that's not why they irked me. What irked me is that their outage status update showed that our power would be restored today only for them to change it to tomorrow. This happened about an hour before the estimated time of restoration that they gave for today. I know these things happen but it's still a kick in the stomach.

We saw Dunkirk on an IMAX screen. The theater was packed and completely silent from beginning to end.
