Who Has all the molds ?

I would have to agree, you would think it would have to be cheaper to make a partial tooling rather than the whole thing.... -

Windshield post repair?

I am disassembling it, it is currently apart now, I think what I'm going to do is try this post I have out of the old Cougar body and if I'm not happy with the way it is fitting then I'll take a trip to HL to get some styrene stripping. I'm sure my wife would prefer I didn't use a pin up girl LOL..... -
Wow that sucks, I have seen replacement decals for them but I don’t recall where off hand I’ve thought about getting a set myself for an old build I want to rehab... I know someone will chime in and say where...

Brian that sounds like that would be more work but a stronger post for sure could be worth the effort. Mark you mean to make a mold of sorts? That’s an interesting idea, I bet it would be hard to get that profile right... -

Thanks guys, I have a pretty bad 69 Cougar body that would probably be a good donor.... -
Hey all, I was hoping to get some input from you guys on the best route of attack for repairing this, I don’t have the missing piece either. I wouldn’t worry about it if it was a common kit but being a Johan AMX I’d really like to save it. Thanks in advance for the help...

Sorry for your loss Carl, my prayers are with you and your family...

I wouldn't use it on a body like stated it's to hot but I will admit I have some of the semi gloss black I use for chassis and interior tubs but you have to put a little primer under it or it will craze...

I'm just spit balling here but could you paint it with a chrome paint then top coat it with some Dullcote?

There is thread here somewhere all about there, if you build your own use an explosion proof fan. Here’s mine I made it out of a couple totes

I have one from the late 80’s that is molded in black also....

I’ve always done cars, pick ups and big trucks and mostly 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Outside of that I do nascar and some drag racing but all automobiles of some type

Homemade wired distributors

I like it, seems to me it's a lot cheaper than buying them... -
I made a wired distributor out of some 1/8 tube and proper size wire, do you all think it looks acceptable?
