Thanks Bob, I used a Xacto with an 11 blade in it and used a pointed swab and tooth pick for tucking and rubbing. I also used the tooth pick to peel off what I cut off as I seemed to have issues with getting it with tweezers...
Yeah I'm not sure I'm ready for something like that yet LOL...
Thanks Guys
Now that you mention that I was thinking about doing that and going over it with the red and amber model masters I have, I figured the BMF would show though and make it pop but I hadn't thought about using sharpies on it. I guess time to run a test to see which comes out better...
Thanks guys I'm rather excited to do another one but I'm sure that novelty will wear off lol..., I could definitely see the old Impalas being a challenge there is a lot of trim on them.
You got my vote there, I own a 1:1 05 F150 Supercrew rollin 35's and 8" of lift and I've always wanted a kit of it to build....
Most all of the other things I would want have been done at one time or another but some are very hard to come by now a days and I'd like some of those to come back.
Thanks Guys, I was really happy with the way it came out being my first one. I will say everything I learned about it came from here I never even knew what it was before coming here, so you all get the credit.....
With what I have learned since I joined the site I have continually tried to step up my game on my builds and today I finished the BMF on one of my currrent builds. It is my first kit to have all the chrome on the body done with BMF. What do you all think?
I don't know if it will help you but I came across this on ebay

I'm not 100% sure as I am about the same age as BlackSheep214 and started building around the same time but I seem to remember them being on top when I was young. I've thought about that a few time opening kits here recently to look at something in the directions....
I have never opened them up I've always just put black paint in there.... I'll ave to try that on these builds. What did you use to sand the back down?
