  1. I don't know if they ever made one but I would love to see a kit of an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser
  2. I use the Testors Dullcote on my nascar wheels it makes them look more like they are used in my opinion
  3. Thanks Bob, I used a Xacto with an 11 blade in it and used a pointed swab and tooth pick for tucking and rubbing. I also used the tooth pick to peel off what I cut off as I seemed to have issues with getting it with tweezers... Yeah I'm not sure I'm ready for something like that yet LOL...
  4. Thanks Guys Now that you mention that I was thinking about doing that and going over it with the red and amber model masters I have, I figured the BMF would show though and make it pop but I hadn't thought about using sharpies on it. I guess time to run a test to see which comes out better...
  5. Thanks guys, it really turned out to be easier than I thought it would be so hopefully that will inspire me to use it all the time...
  6. Thanks guys I'm rather excited to do another one but I'm sure that novelty will wear off lol..., I could definitely see the old Impalas being a challenge there is a lot of trim on them.
  7. You got my vote there, I own a 1:1 05 F150 Supercrew rollin 35's and 8" of lift and I've always wanted a kit of it to build.... Most all of the other things I would want have been done at one time or another but some are very hard to come by now a days and I'd like some of those to come back.
  8. It's funny you say that I was thinking about starting a 57 Ford wagon I have next... LOL Thanks Guys...
  9. Thanks Guys, I was really happy with the way it came out being my first one. I will say everything I learned about it came from here I never even knew what it was before coming here, so you all get the credit.....
  10. With what I have learned since I joined the site I have continually tried to step up my game on my builds and today I finished the BMF on one of my currrent builds. It is my first kit to have all the chrome on the body done with BMF. What do you all think?
  11. This is where he was referring to... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/forum/16-car-aftermarket-resin-3d-printed/
  12. Nice!!!! lots of possibilities for that, I'll have to add it to my want list... Thanks for sharing...
  13. That's definitely from the 34 Ford, I have made a few different sizes though the years too...
  14. I don't know if it will help you but I came across this on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/LOT-of-8-RESIN-1-25-HOODS-Challenger-Firebird-Camaro-more/203228792713?hash=item2f51614789:g:eckAAOSwB7pf2lWw
  15. I have this release and it has the 2 scoop hood, could you take the scoops off that to do it?
  16. I'm not 100% sure as I am about the same age as BlackSheep214 and started building around the same time but I seem to remember them being on top when I was young. I've thought about that a few time opening kits here recently to look at something in the directions....
  17. I have bought a different release of a kit not realizing it was the same as one I had but never bought one I already had...
  18. I have never opened them up I've always just put black paint in there.... I'll ave to try that on these builds. What did you use to sand the back down?
