  1. I just discovered this post and read the entire thing, The amount of work and fine detailing is mind boggling. I don't build this type of model but I am in awe of the scope of this project and will follow the rest of the process.
  2. I really like what you have done here,
  3. Very nice.
  4. Definitely a seperate assembly and not part of the air cleaner, and it's primary purpose was radio noise interference reduction
  5. Great job and memories, a most worthwhile project.
  6. Very well done, the weathering is first rate.
  7. They look very good, the old school one is especially cool.
  8. Having built one of the larger Billings Boats I can appreciate the effort involved here, well done and a beautiful model.
  9. WOW There is way more to building one of these replicas that I was aware of. Although I'm not a huge fan of these cars this is one model I will follow. Great modeling is great modeling.
  10. Thank you Daniel and I agree. At 215 inches I think this was one of the longest front engine cars Don Long built. The real car has great presence when you get close.
  11. That looks very good, well done.
  12. Completed front axle and wing now the proper color steering rod also in place
  13. I am using LKQ1320's 392 in the Royal Canadian and I can attest to it's scale fidelity, Comp Resins Donovan is also good. I'm a fan of injected motors but either one would be a good choice IMHO. Mark Johnson also makes very good motors.
  14. Fantastic undertaking, well done!
  15. All of the pieces look great.
  16. Looks very good,
  17. I like the direction your taking this.
