  1. Hi Tim Great to hear your getting back to normal, I've missed seeing your updates. This last one shows you haven't really skipped a beat, as usual outstanding workmanship.
  2. Hi Todd How about some photos of your model.
  3. Not something you see built every day both in modeling and 1 to 1. Very well done and a great concept! I like it a lot!
  4. Very cool and well done!
  5. Great model, greater story. Deceptively simple looking model finished to a high standard. Well done!
  6. I just found this thread, your attention to detail with the interior is remarkable. It's going to be a great model and I will continue to watch your progress. Well done!
  7. I know exactly what you mean about pictures, It drives me crazy when I look at close up photos of my parts. What I think are great parts show flaws ( I check my work with photos because my eyes don't tell the whole story) and OK parts can have areas that look like the surface of the moon but still look good to the naked eye and on the model. If you can get a part, in any scale, that looks great in a extreme closeup you are at the top of your game. In the scale you have chosen, it's an almost impossible task that you and Tim seem to have a handle on.
  8. Great model, love the color, Just discovered Wicked paints last weekend but have not tried them although I have been assured they spray pretty much the same as auto air.
  9. Good looking model.
  10. Hi Ron. Lots to work with here, lines and proportions look good. I will keep an eye on this project, I've always had a soft spot for these Novas.
  11. Last test fit before paint and interior details
  12. Great design and execution, very future forward design but the classic lines are still there and the color adds sophistication. This would make a great prototype for a max effort 1 :1 ISCA Radical Custom contender
  13. I was asked to post some additional photos.
  14. Starting the assembly process
  15. Great job on this model Stephen, a very clean well built replica!
  16. Thank you Tim, it is nice to be able to start assembling the parts and see something resembling a completed model starting to emerge. However it is I that should be thanking you for the insights and tips that you have been sharing during your fantastic project.
  17. Thank you Jason, glad you like it. It's nice that the parts are now starting to go together and that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
  18. Sorry Lee in this case the butterflies don't move, this wasn't designed to move either but it just turned out that way. I'm too far along on this project to incorporate moving butterflies this time, but the way this hat was assembled it may possibly to allow that with some minor clearance changes. Perhaps on the next one.
  19. I'm glad you like it, It still won't come up when I try to view it but I've seen it LOL Thanks for letting me know!
  20. Great post Mike! Definitely going to try this method, I've been using A/M wheels on my last couple of models but this looks as good or better (especially with being able to vary the spoke count) and the cost appeals to my Scottish heritage. Good to see you posting again.
  21. The seat is in and the parts that wrap around the upper rail have been added and the pattern carved in and painted to match. Not this shiny in person but it's either too bright with the flash of just a black hole.
  22. You just continue to amaze and raise the bar my friend. No words do justice.
  23. The above post won't show the video or let itself be deleted
