  1. That's too cool... I would never be concerned at all taking a sharp turn at speed in that thing...lol! I'd be a new flavor of pancake.
  2. I have one that I use on literally every model I build and have for over 3yrs. Mine is the G22 model I believe? I think it is an excellent airbrush especially for the price... I've sprayed all types of paint through it without issue after the neccessary adjustments. You will have folks put it down because it is a clone of an Iwata, and honestly it's not on that level of quality... or price. But it will absolutely get the job done. I've had mine over 3yrs and would buy agian if it ever fails. Buy with confidence.
  3. This is gonna be a stellar build!
  4. Gonna keep my eye out for the deco pen... that seems like it's worth a try. I really wish the molotow were just more consistent... and that I wasn't gambling everytime I buy one, as the product inside is truly awsome.
  5. ×2
  6. Wow, these things seem major inconsistent at best! Lol!!
  7. Mini orbital sander... I like it!
  8. I pulled mine out also... it was very wet... mine will even pool up around the tip but never actually flow from it. weird... and for the price, totally unacceptable.
  9. I've given that some thought actually... just buy the larger "refill" bottle and use it as brush paint.
  10. Door panels look great Logan. I knew you could pull it off. Get yourself an optivisor or some other sort of head mounted magnifier... (usually the more expensive the better, unlike some things) If you will only be doing car models I would suggest going the route of a single action airbrush... in my experience the learning curve isn't as steep and they tend to do a bit better at covering large areas consistently. I personally use dual action, but that is because I was mainly a armor and figure modeler before getting back into cars, so I already had it. I'm now about to invest in a good single action, just to paint car bodys... not that I don't like the dual action, I just want to press a button and go...(also with a larger needle/nozzle). But hey, go with what you want, as they all have their place. Again, the door panels look excellent!
  11. Yea, like me! Between work and plumbing issues at home, I can't even sit down at my desk!! It's making me crazy... but oh well, I have my first day off since Christmas tomorrow... so some building is gonna take place so help me!
  12. I know it's a diesel, but I find it hilarious that over 1600 cubic inches and 12 Superchargers and apparently nitrous makes sub 4000 horspower... I'm sure the torque is astronomical, but still! 1 500 cube pushrod v8 and a single supercharger with no nitrous can make over 4000hp... That thing must be EXTREMELY mannerly as far as engine characteristics. Despite the hideous aesthetic, the specs are far from impressive. All in my humble opinion of course.
  13. I don't even wanna think about that... let alone smell it! LOL!! I've always tried to avoid calling plumbers or electricians but today I came real close!
  14. I have a (real) hardware store in town that carries every size rubber o-ring imaginable! I'm gonna swing by there and see what I can't come up with! Like the toothbrush idea though, sadly I have no electrics.
  15. I have the forum right in my pocket so I can check frequently for updates. That's good to know. Your work looks exceptional btw!
  16. Thank you for the info and the quick response, I'm gonna check into that right now!
  17. Yea, I plan to replace the whole piece from under the sink to about 4ft outside the house... putting 45s in place of the 90s. Massively frustrating. The geniuses who had last ran drains at my house (long before I bought it) put in 1 1/4" pipe! Way undersized... Its really a joke. But, on the bright side it will all be done correctly Monday. Maybe then I can get some (much needed) bench time in!
  18. I would have loved them had they not completely quit working after the first use. I've shaken them till I thought my arm would fall off... I've pumped them, I've dipped them in alcohol... I've stored them every direction physics will allow and they just do not work for me, but u really wish they did. The product inside them is amazing... the tip or whatever is completely garbage.
  19. I'd like to know where to get that powder... can't seem to find it anywhere...
  20. I fix things for a living...6 days a week 60hrs a week... then come home to plumbing of all things. Yea I hate it. After running the snake and getting it completely and utterly stuck, I spent a good portion of my morning (before work today) digging a hole beside the house to find the drain. I located the drain and found that the 90° fitting right where it goes from galvanized to pvc had rotted out and my snake had went through the hole and was stuck in the mud! Lovely! Now I've got it all dug back and plan on running new pipe Monday before work. Did I mention I HATE plumbing?
  21. I can dig it except that ridiculously large spoiler has to go.... Other than that it looks cool.
  22. I agree with you, but I'm no stranger to plumbing. I just happen to HATE it! I'm about 5 min out from running the snake... see what kinda crud is down there this time.
  23. Nope, Main drain under kitchen sink... it has been an ongoing pain in my rear for 3 days! Bout to run a snake down the thing to try and clear whatever blockage is in there... I created a tidal wave of nastiness all over my kitchen and myself yesterday morning, it was all I could do not to work my kitchen over with a pipe wrench! Dang Bill, your plumbing issues make mine look non existent! Luckily my house is located on a hill... as I have a river just across the street. We had some serious flooding here last year, fortunately the house was perfectly fine. I couldn't leave the though, unless it was by boat. My road and the bottom of my driveway was under 8ft of water. This is the next day after the water level decreased by about 6ft from the night before. That white sign down there by that mailbox was completely submerged the night before, and that is over 8ft tall. It was pretty wild to say the least!!!
  24. That is an awsome build JC... presses my nostalgia button with the playstation/grand turismo livery. Definitely gonna get this one now.
