  1. Nice! Looks more like a H1 to me ?
  2. Nice build!
  3. So a couple of years later, When a wheel or two, have been knocked off In the display case, this build came back to the Bench. And since it was curbside, I decided it would be nice to have an engine in it. And I decided to have the LT5 in it just because I love the intake And the fact that it has four overhead camshafts It automatically makes the engine Exotic. And Turbos on a LT5 would be nice so that was the plan.. then the chassi would not cut it.. and with the huge tubs from the revell ‘67 Chevelle I had to redo the interior.. bloody snowballs.. out came the cutter to remove the firewall and inner fenders. And the door cards was cut of the original tub to make the interior less deep. The engine was missing parts since it was originally built by a friend 20 years ago and have been in parts for the last 19 or so. So I decided that I will make use of LS parts to make the front of the engine to look cool. Never mind accuracy and close to the 1:1 as possible, this engine shall look like a LT5 version V or some thing ? rear wheels will be weld racing and fronts might be weld racing as well.. but time will tell. Must do something about that intake though..
  4. Yes it was, and it was active bigger part of the war, and even though it didn’t make much actual difference in the war due to fuel rationing and it stayed most of its time hidden in north Norway. It took allot of resources from the allied to try to sink it, and they even blew up a dry dock in France to limit the possibility’s for repairs. For me this is local history since it was in Narvik, where we have our cottage as mentioned, and was sunk not far from where my grandparents live. I believe that Bismarck is more famous only thanks to propaganda, the battleship that the allied sunk on its maiden voyage.
  5. Got an early birthday gift from my wife and kids. Have been wanting to build this ship for 20 years, my dad have been diving on it way back and the found an armory, even though there is almost nothing left of the ship. It sank close to where my Norwegian part of the family lives. And it was also positioned in Narvik during the war, which is where my family have a cottage. So allot of connection to the monster of a ship! Will ad some minor changes such as replacing the typical svastica with the Iron cross and I might buy a deck, but I won’t ad any PE since this version already comes with PE and 1180+ pieces!
  6. Nice build. Sweet looking details Ismael!

  13. I have a personal relationship to this particular machine even though I made it as #11 instead of the #12 that we used to have in our monter back in 2005 when we where touring the swedish Junior Touring car Championchip. The car we had was on auction couple of years ago and as it seems it must have been a spare chassi or something since it does't have a chassi number, Looks the part though and I remember gaming Grand turismo in it as well as standing next to it while others where gaming. and I remember that it was quite light when we pushed it back an forth in to the trailer, even though the tires had low pressure. Here is a link to the one we had with uss. Jordan Peugeot 197, Formel 1-bil — 1997 på Bilweb Auctions I made this build mostly during a week when I was feeling under the weather. Box stock except for antenna that was replaced by a needle. Had a clear coat problem on the tires so the decals got a bit damaged. Far from perfect but I like these cars and it felt good to get something done. It was a nice kit to build, in 1/24 scale and nice decals, some where realy hard to get them to stick to the body and form around the curvature even though i was using solvents. Paint is Tamiya LP yellow airbrushed on and al other colors are by Vallejo. first time I tried the method to use a nylon sock to Make it to look like CF which turned out ok.
  14. cool build! we have a simmilar series over here in Sweden wich is called Folkrace. Its a dirt track type event but you have mor of a street circuit layout and try to go as fas as you can in heats against several other cars. Cars gets banged up pretty good but you race them for years.
  15. As a Swede it’s always nice to see a Swedish race car, especially when it was driven by a modern Swedish racing legend. Nice work
  16. Such great jobb you have done to this! Any progress mate? Was browsing the thread again for collor choise for the yellow since i am building the c5R where i try to correct the width and such for the 2001 car.

  19. Hi! Nice work! How do you get the base of the print loosen from the build plate in one piece, mine always breaks. which ends upp disorting flat panels when curing.
