  1. Epic build! Al those details are insane! I understand why it took the time it took! Great Work!
  2. Cool build! trying to wrap my head around what i will do with my 1/24 funny car that i dont want to build.. hate the body style. But need a chassi for such a build.. corection i have one but i need a body ;D
  3. Great decal work there! Looks super!
  4. Looks great Mark! your scratch building skills are top notch!
  5. Nice progress! those ducts looks spot on! have that on the to do list on an other project and i just got inspiration.
  6. Thanks alot Mark! You are to kind! This was a relativly quick build and i belive it vame out good. And it for sure looks god at the shelf!
  7. Thanks mark for those kind words! I appreciate it! Thank you sir! Same here, it’s my favorite Japanese car of al time. The livery was DIY and my first attempt on printing my own decals, which most are. It’s the classic Calsonic kit that I bought second hand and some what started. The idea for the livery is explained better in the original thread I ad it in here in a minute. But it was based on the Akira Supra that Best motoring featured way back and did a monster drift in the end, which got my eyes to open to Japanese cars and drifting.
  8. That’s some impressive cutting and joining! Great work!
  9. is this the one you have ? https://www.yeggi.com/goto/m5qcmHR6a_7isZzn06Ovksm1zMLDwqrx9uOcse7j4Nzm2uTtoKGT17mx2uWZzpnLsbNk19RkadaSoqXWy8CJvKi44_Tv2pWrn5iaoeXJ1ebLn5Wte3qT1cfXzNqxc5vn1KOvn8iWqA==
  10. Btw, if you would use acrylics such as Ammo mig new line of colors, and an AB you could do it almost anywhere as long as you have a area where it’s not fragile.
  11. Sucks being a lot of work prepping it. Can’t you use some other chassi then?. And Is’t there any other body available to download?
  12. Detailing progress, seats are taking shape. And so are the plumbing.. you might not want the fuel lines that close to the driveshaft but i thought of that after ?
  13. I have this funny car laying around, its one of the newer Monogram 1/24 With the dodge body. And i bought this one only for its wheels for the Impala. I am not a fan of the tall and narow style funny cars so i am searcing for good references for boddys in 1/24 to build around. I have the Monogram 1/24 70 chevelle that i think would work and was searching and found this.. had to share since it looks so sinister. Could not get the link to work.. and i realize this is a Pro MOD/doorslamer https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fm.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D7ALAMB7ZqX8&psig=AOvVaw2CpBfob8dieVACAd-oPR7K&ust=1731163230489000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CAMQjB1qFwoTCPD5kO_8zIkDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAE
  14. I cant agree more. I must say if its in line with Ford vs Ferrari i am satisfied! Seems like Cruise has no role in this one so i might gotten that wrong.
  15. Nice! So cool that we can do these kinds of builds today!
  16. And you can always push the pedal further to the floor! btw he have made a new race movie but with F1 cars. I hope it’s better than DoT. 300 million budget.
  17. Nice build. It has been a similar struggle for me with different kits since I wanted to build a street car
  18. Cool! Never seen that kit, will be following!
  19. Had to do a poser shot after base coat.
  20. I believe the hood is done. Some sanding on the trunk and I hope to go to primer tomorrow! Fingers crossed! I wanted the hood to look almost like an Stock hood but with more attitude kind of a performance version I think I nailed it with stacking an other as hood on top of the other one ?
  21. Nice build! Why can’t you paint during winter? No sprayboth? That sucks never the less. I had to build a both so I could paint since our winter is so long here above the arctic circle.
  22. Such a nice build! Any updates 2 years later? Did you look at the lights any more? I actualy bought the Burago 1/24 die cast to try to make it in to a nice model in that scale. And I do have the Revell one but i am no fan of the kit but might be ok thanks to 3d printed parts. I know I have some started even earlier still not done so thats why i revive this one
  23. Thanks mate! For sure, it’s been a long ride and still ton left. I will try to get the good done so I can paint the body. And when my latest supply purchase arrives I can finally finish the wiering.
