  1. Made some progress over the last days. Interior is coming along, the bmw inside door handles that I got from a forum member fits the Porsche nicely and ads some needed detail. I also painted the rear seat more like the 1:1 than what the kit gave, think will flock it with the floor. engine is also in and everything foyer nice when test fitting but now when it’s glued in the IC touches the body and the chassi won’t fit snug. Will se what I do tomorrow. Wheels and brakes are done and rear suspension is glued in. The modified floor pan can be seen here.
  2. Epic build! looks great!
  3. Looking nice mate! nice tuch with the switch!
  4. Came out great! Looks very real and with the limited amount of aftermarket parts (exept now when printing is availble) it for sure looks the part! Need to get my hands on one of these in the future.
  5. 'Great looking build! Stance is just right and with that color it looks like a sleeper!
  6. You can have any one with a printer, or Texas Minatures to print you a set. I have done so with many parts on my own printer for my 1/16 projects.
  7. Great backstory! Yes they for sure are important! I usaly go to Modellhobby (Järnvägs Specialisten) in Luleå and i just love going in there, its a large shop with a good selection of kits no aftermarket though.
  8. Final polish is done and I got the rubber black on. Might not ad the rubber thingy on the rear bumper.. will see how they look on there.
  9. Yes not common though, as well as their Jeep YJ
  10. Welcome Ulf! Nice to see some more Swedish builders on here. Do you know Proosen an other sthlm builder(used to be think he mooved) that i have seen in wheels ocasonly as well?
  11. True that! That was the place It was my first vissit but most likley not the last, a neat little store!
  12. Made some changes to the flares and decided to more or less extend the side sil plate instead of adding a "box" sil. Bumpres are up next on this one.
  13. Thats a great idea! I will try to make a front clip.
  14. I have been doing som CAD work on this.. since i have cut the wheel arch back in the day for big tires i need to adress it. So I sketched this up.. Thpughts? Would be rougly 2 inches wider than stock on each side and the front arch comes upp about 2mm to drop the nose more as its in the pictures.
  15. I made som new wheels as well the fist one i finished today the other during last week or two. So got them done
  16. Was to the capital today and picked up Tamiya fine polish compound and also found a big scale vette to a price i could not recist. Actualy seems to be a neat kit with much more detail than other 1/16 kits i have seen and it does come with two intakes and two sets of seats. The chassi looks nice with good detail on a arms and other parts but I might throw a resin tube chassi underneath it though, and i do need a spoiler and front lip. Borrowed picutre, mine was not sealed
  17. I work as a manager for a onsultant company in the technical sector, my group do mechanical engineering and projects within the mining industry in the far north of Sweden. Other than that my family is a priority of mine and also the house needs its attention.
  18. Thats Epic! With one paint on all parts it would look super cool!
  19. And now it’s polished, but still need to get a Tamiya finishing compound since I can see swirls still from the fine compound but it’s getting there. o and no run through which is a first for me, the paint was good to start with so I started with 6000 in some places but ended up with 4000 and then all the way to 12000:)
  20. So good paintings! You really managed to capture the motion and weight of the cars.
  21. Clear is on. Now masking for all the black, maybe some polishing first not sure if I micro mesh it or just use compound.
  22. Try to switch the exhaust manifolds left to right so the turbos comes up instead. The Camino have more space on top than the Vette and less on the bottom where the frame takes alot of space. Sweet build btw!
