  1. Great work there, looks great! I was looking at some of your builds on here and I like them allot! BTW. The links below your post does not go to the right place.
  2. Welcome back sir! Will be looking forward to seeing your builds.
  3. I engineered it. A arms and upright I found on Grabcad and modified them to work for scale work, i made the crossmember and made sure everything worked. And then I printed them
  4. Okay. I am in Sweden across the pond. 2wd is cool, I was also looking at the charger as a donor as well as the 79 Pontiac. But I designed my own, you can se my thread that I started now in pickup an suv Wip.
  5. This is my long term project and I make this thread partly to remember my plan and ideas. The Plan has always been inspired by the Roadkill Muscle Truck, 2wd nice stance and a nice looking engine with a manual gearbox. some parts have always bugged me about this kit.. or most of it. So most parts will be modified or replaced.. to start with wheels and tires, engine and gearbox, rear axle, tailgate, bumpers all around, and the interior. Hum, easier to say what’s left. The body and frame is still there, parts of it? the front bumper is designed for my old K5 blazer but I printed it to see if it would fit this build. Engine is my version of a LS3 found on Grabcad with T56. Rear axle is a Ford 9 inch. I also have a firebird in pieces that where suppose to donor parts but it most likely won’t do so. front axle is my own design based on a c5 layout. The rear axle might also get a 4link since the leaf springs are not that good looking and hard to adjust to get the right ride height. Second engine in the pics are a l79 that used to be my engine of choice.
  6. Sweet! Will be following. Built one in 2022 , and have one in its box. and as mentioned, also my fav body style Chevy! I noticed on the engine in the kit is the size of a Chevy 350 which I don’t believe them to be. o and I made a light bezel so you can put clear glass lights on it if you like.
  7. You are making great progress! Looks super in every detail. How do you make your decals?
  8. I do have most of those parts to spare since I won’t be using most of it on my build, I have made a 2wd conversion with corvette c5 A-arms and different spindle and a 9 inch rear axle. I do have a resin grill from a 79 as well so it looks more like the 1:1 I would like to build it to look as a 1:1 as possible. Will be using a carb LS or the l59.. most likely LS. only things I would not give up is door handles and the steps. only problem might be shipping since you seem to be state side.
  9. Jade some progress.. body is in primer as are many parts, the body need some more sanding before final color. Seats are getting prepped and have gotten mounting rails. ? engine is also coming together and next is wiring. I hit a round bump though, I am missing one of the black (still wite) rubber dampers or what they are called. So what to do?
  10. I made a new tire now for rally cars that Ghostman will sell. If you have a printer you can have the file though.
  11. You are welcome ?
  12. What a build of a incredible car! Great work every one involved!
  13. Sweet build mate! that master culinder came out great! Will be folowing!
  14. Cool! I know those have been all over the world! Here the military had a ton of them, no wonder since they were built for them, many company’s still use them here for maintenance in the backcountry. I live in the Swedish Lapland above the arctic circle. I have been to Christchurch back in 2002 when it was world fire fighter games there, we drove from Auckland to CH. We ent jeetboat riding as well in CH, it was a great little town and I found such good street food on main street I think, it was lamb meet in bread with a garlic sauce, best street food I have ever had! To bad about the quakes that hit. ?
  15. Aren’t they! My onkel used to be a Major, squadron leader at that base before he retired. that is a cool looking tank for sure! I have seen that tank but not the kit I think. Might be next tank build. Next 1\35 build would be a military suv like a Humvee or such so I can get the scale in. Btw i have some colleagues working on CV90 as consultants or I get the MB Gwagen since Swedish army have those.. and I definitely need to get one of these, my dads work used to have one. https://www.modellhobby.se/sv/markfordon/75466-takom-bandvagn-hagglunds-bv-206s-med-interior-takom2083.html Thank you Thanks! Or as the driver for these would say, tanks!
  16. Thank you! I appreciate your coment! Thanks allot!
  17. Sweet build! I had that kit in my hands 15 years ago, a friend of mine said if i had time i could build it as his dragracing bike.. time and interest never came so i gave it back. His was not stock.. his street bike was more stock though.
  18. Thanks Simon! Its the Italeri kit, so all handles and hooks on top of the turret was separate but as you say the tracks was molded strips in gray, which i enjoy, I would't like to put all the links to gether since i am not that interested in this type of models ;D Thanks! I was looking att the Swedish army from close to where i live and used them as refference, and I imagine this tank would have been out for a long period of time and going thorugh the bush This is the pictures i used for refference: Leopard Club : In the Field - UNPROFOR and SFOR Leopard 1A5DK
  19. Started this build last year but never had the time to finish it. Its the Italeri Leopard 2 A5 kit molded in dark green. Parts fit to gether nicley with some minor clean up. I did not have a green color so I used Tamiya flat clear on the plastic and then sprayed Valleo Model Air white and Nato black. Masking was not perfect so afterwards went on with thinner and a swab to remove acess an some black tuch up was needed but cant be clearly seen now i think. Weathering was done with Tamiya weathering kits with pictures i found of the Swedish army in snow cammoflage. I really enjoy the result and I just wanted to share. Comments are most welcome
  20. Managed to tidy up my paint station with re routing cables and installing new lights, feels huge
  21. Made some progress on the Porsche, chassi is painted, need spacers for the wheels. Engine is under way. And I changed wheels.
