  2. Welcome from Sweden!
  3. Welcome from Sweden!
  4. Turned out great! Stickers work is great! btw, what is the sponsor a Monster alco drink?
  5. Looks sharp! I need to look at my exposure, thats for sure, my tires does not get that crisp.
  6. I can imagine it have taken its time. I know your feeling. have been doing some files for my 1/16 chevy and also a new turbo settup for LS engines and allot of addons. And its time consuming, even when coming from that line of work. I have sold some files, but taken them down now, but I will likley not sell my latest files but I might give them to fellow builders on the forum.
  7. Sutch an incredible build! Great work on this one!! Details are so crisp and neatly done! Looks epic!
  8. Awesome details as allways Sergey. Great to se your progress!
  9. Nice build mate! Are you trading these files or are you selling them?
  10. Not yet my friend, the '96 Pro street Impala is seeing my attention at the moment. Thanks Dan! I will get back at it during next year. Thats also a neat idea! Hehe! As mentioned, the Pro Street Impala tickled my interest more at the moment.
  11. I have made som interior progress as well. The divider for the trunk have been separated from the door cards to be able to build around it better. So that gave me the chanse to glue in the back seat as well as the divider, firewall. Will proabobly do a second firewall further back due to the fuel cell, time will tell. I also replaced the old center consol that i had put there froma Series 1, 20 years ago and replaced it with a extra 4gen camaro center console that i had. Found a cool file on a shifter... I think it suits the theme or what do you guys say? Also found a good material for the carpet that i will be needing. Looks like carpet in scale in my eyes. It's baby wipes that i rinsed in water before drying it so the chemicals would not mess with the collor later which seems to work.
  12. New mock-up with the new tires.
  13. I have printed the setup and started to assemble them. Looks darn good I must say!
  14. I would say no on scratch building since its an other thing entirely. And Building 3d files from scratch is a different story than scratch building in my opinion. This is a parametric tyre that can be chaged on wheel size, tire width, profile and so on. Good thing wiht 3d prining is that its easy to replicate a part many times which is much harder with traditional building. And i guess thats whats the real scratch builders enjoy, to be able to make say 4 equal carburettors out of flat stock and rods. Which is some thing i cant do well. I am an engineer and work with Mechanical engineering , not "desining". I love scrach building but in some cases i dont have the skill, patience or will t do that way when i can quickly make a new IC and print it instead
  15. Thanks mate! I have been doing allot to it but mucht that is just filling and filing Engine took some time but I am really satisfied now, more acurate LS is hard to find i think.
  16. Thanks! They might if you send them a nice little email Thanks! Thanks Ace! There is both AMT and Monogram ones, the Monogram kit is realy nice and i must buy a second or third one from a swedish store that has NOS kits. Sweet, My dad used to have a GMC Suburban of this generation until a couple of years ago. He also had square body blazers and suburbans over the years. I have always liked this generation truck but never onwed any tryuck, i always had more use of the SUV style since there is a lot of snow and i am a Ski bum, or was, So 1999-2004 Grand Cherokee was my chosen weapon.
  17. Looks very good mate! Details are awesome!
  18. Made a new turbo system and a drysump system that mantain the AC. Also made a set of new valvecovers.. will print next week.
  19. So i got an other build done and started working on this beast.. then I got access to a printer and made some parts for it as well as bought some. Made the rear part of the chassi more or less done, both underneath and inside. Need to finish the shocks and brakes as well as wheelie bars. Also made space for the battery, fuel cell, Aeromotive fuel pump, and an extra bottle for go if somebody extreme come up to the lights. Made a set of tires as well, wider and lower than the revell pro street tires, I think they suit the look of the build nicely. I have also made some changes to the floor and transmission tunnel, as well as a new fire wall and some new supports. Also printed new seats, turbos, headers, engine and details, as well as new intake scaled down from 1:1. Re modeled the front A-arms as well. Made other things as well I guess. A LQ”LS” with new intake.. built the other engine afterwards. notice the SS on the seat back. I have also cut the seat apart so I could angle it back so it looks right. I am thinking if I should cut the upper part of the headrest to make it look more like the original one. Your thoughts on that?
  20. Nice build! 1/16 is a special scale and i have one in the works as well. Have bought 2 different kits to supply parts but the 3D printer was some thing that made my build to start to come alive.
  21. Jess the chevy truck in 1/16 scale have a 12 bolt as it seems, at least it has 12 bolts. I have not taken any other measurements on it to verify that the meassurements are correct. Any one with a 3d printer should be able to help you out since i belive there are 12bolt rear axles on the various sites for files to buy and then print. 3D model specialties on shapeways have several rear ends but no 12bolt as it seems.
