Thanks! Slow progress on my builds m8! So you will finish yours ages before me ? brakes are easy to fit since brake shields for the fronts are there. Thanks! -

Nice progress Sergey! I will try to gather up some relevant pictures for you. I have allot, not much of the chassi but engine bay and fenders off and sow on. Have some front suspension pictures. -

so I started this one a while back when I thought I had messed up my 454SS. I built the chassi and cage but removed the cross bars so I could fit a second seat. But I managed to push through with the 454ss and did not continue on this build. well I wanted to make this build happen and no it won’t be stock car racing spec since the bars are cut out and I may actually ad my 3D printed lights to it and install rear lights and run it as a “long distance” racer. Don’t know yet. But I won’t make the original livery since I am afraid of using all the original decals due to age, yellowing and all. So my plan is to use the C5R #3 decals and make a dale truck but with the modern corvette themed collors. I am thinking something similar to the zr1 launch livery since it would be possible to replicate with paint only with my skills. since it’s cold here and expensive to heat the hose and my paint both is in a cold room many parts will be hand painted. But not the body ?

Mattilacken replied to Sergey's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Nice now it works ? what they usually do when they use a different transmission is to move the transmission crossmember to where ever the “cone” on the transmission is. And there is a ruber mount that goes there. And Refering to your pics I take it that is what you did ? nice work -
Nice work on that Chassis! a set of deep dish wheels would suit that build very well!
