I might make it. Even though I have had more issues. Need to get an other polish a final or I have to get an other cloth. The paint got scratches.also the decals wrinkled. Will sort that later.. got glass in after removing the center bar. Also glued the rear wheels and shocks. And a simple detail in the interior, a road atlas from 1987 the year when I was born ?

Tamiya 1/10 RC Porsche 911 RSR

Nice. Huge differences between the makes. I believe Tamiya today are seen as a beginners brand and the detail are there after, but I can be wrong. There are many really advanced RC cars with allot of aftermarket. Search for Axial for example. Very true to the real deal in terms of looks, how they are engineered amd parts available. -

I keep on racing! My Magnaflow mufflers and 3mm bras tube bent and opened up in the end so it look more to scale. Alsorelocated the battery in a battery box from my PB where the tank used to sit. Made some progress to night. Decals was keeping it to getter her but had to be “washed” before applied since they where giving gray gue. The bags are thrown in the back to see if they fit ? as well as the snowboards. I guess the Swede will go to the Rockies before going home to Sweden. interior starts to come to getter, did respect the dash, had some over spray on the black. Still thinking if I make seat belts or not.. time will tell. Need to put some cans and stuf in there I guess. -
Thanks man! Btw did you get the new files? I had a export problem a while. My Magnaflow mufflers and 3mm bras tube bent and opened up in the end so it look more to scale. Super Nice build! And I will be looking for those decals from slixx since I can get hold of mor of them because I rally like it. Have that kit on the table right now. But don’t know if it will be a mascar or not..

I will get one of those at the next opportunity, thanks for the tip. As you said I went with what I had. I am trying to work on the brush paints skills as well. But I can’t get the Vallejo paints to lai down as nicely as everyone say they will. It Might have to do with patience and getting the right viscosity and coverage on each pass. I did spray the bottom color with Tamiya TS red but the bottle was bad and did not lay down good. Should have decanted it and put a drop of black in it. I should probably re do the parts for the interior ?

Great turtorial. As mentioned above it would be great if some one could update with new pictures ? @iamsuperdan you are a moderator right? Is there a way to make a library of these good turtourials? I know on AF forum we also had a lot previously but they get hard to find if not in an section by its own where only turtourials are posted. Also they tend to die when the picture hosting sites no longer get paid for ? but that I guess can be sorted with this awesome forums library? -

Need help, what to do? Paint related.

Thanks guys for all the inputs. Yes I rushed a bit and that cost me both time and money in getting new cans. Stupid of me. I tried to sand it down even further after I had used micro mesh and polish to try to bring it back with no luck to see if I could salvage it but I couldn’t. Also noticed more orange peel on the cab when sanding. So it went in to the pond of break fluid today. Will need to go through and brush of al the old paint to night. Have ordered new cans of primer and paint and will try to Finnish before the end of the month. Wish me luck!
