  1. Got me a XC90 D5 2,5l diesel. And at Work i drive a Jeep Cherokee in the Mines.
  2. Nice! Your hood seems to fit way better than mine did.
  3. Suspension is glued in. Also some weathering have been done.
  4. Got some chassi work done. Suspension is glued in and steering works. I also did some dry brushing of rust and grit. Whom is keeping the underside of their race truck spotless? The big fuel cell even seem to work. Not much clearance but I guess it’s enough. Otherwise I need to steal some space in the box
  5. Came out great!
  6. There is a thread under general where this subject is being discussed. I think that the quality have improved with the newer printers, note that this thread is from 2017. Still some work is needed, much more than resin or plastic I guess.
  7. Nice project
  8. The thought have hit me. I even cut a tank today that will fit the bill. A Supra long distance tank. I guess it would have more weight over the rear wheels ? And it would make it possible to run a more traditional exhaust that end before the rear end.
  9. Thanks for your input m8! I will use the last set mentioned on my other truck, the C5R Silverado. This one will use the OZ wheels above ?
  10. Some more progress, engine have gotten some ignition wires and a home made drysump pump. It felt like I had to do it since the corvette oil pan without the “bat” piece is so shallow. And I guess it did’t hurt since it’s suppose to be a high HP natural aspirated Engine made for street, strip and I guess track use. So next up is the other pieces of this oiling system. I have also started to look where to go with the exhaust and extra fuel tank.
  11. A quick picture of the nights work. Dry sump pump fabed, plumbed without couplings since I have none. And engine is gued in.. will se if I was too quick about that.
  12. Some progress to #1 the 1987 All new GM 1500. So tonight the LSX454 got some headers. Still need some finishing touches as paint and weathering. Also the wheels have been chosen, at last! They need to be stripped and then painted but at least hey have been turned down to fit within the Pegasus sleves. The offsets shown here is probably what will end up on the truck. Ride hight is good maybe 1mm lower in the rear.
  13. Got some beefy headers fabed. And I also made a starter out of some sprue and wire.
  14. Thanks Guys! I appreciate that you take the time to comment!
  15. Have finally managed to make al the OZ wheels fit within the sleves and wanted to see the the ride height and depth. Might try to pull some depth out of the fronts but it also looks cool. Ride height is close to stock in the rear, and front spindles turned upside down in the front. At last I can drop the wheels and start prepping for paint and spraying some color!
  16. Nice! Cool idea and it will look good when done! I would say, as you do, that such a big gap need to be filled with styrene. A idea would be to try the wood burner method, since they are low temp you can solder plastics with it.
  17. #1 Making slow progress. An other mock-up after the wheels have been modified to fit in the Pegasus Sleves. Might use Aoshima lips in front to get a “20 -“23 staggered look.
