Nice to se in the vid their reinforcement, probably due to the reason mentioned above, don’t attempt at home except if you reinforce! I am glad the ranger came back to the US, first after that the Ranger started to look good. It’s the only Ford truck sold here in Sweden, except for side import, and they had a lot of problems with their diesel Engine for a long while, hopefully sorted now, but today almost only the ones really needing that sort of work truck buy them since the government is really trying to reduce the sales with extreme taxes on all non electric cars and based on weigh and emissions all trucks get stupidly high taxes. A ranger or for example Gladiator 3.0l D have around 2000usd in tax per year where my hybrid (8l/100Km) have 38usd in tax.

That tips on the paint repair seems to be working. ? Had to get the filters painted and tested. Seems that I have to extend the piping a little bit so I don’t hit the alternator.

I have only had some random time to put in to the hobby lately. So paint haven’t been adressed yet. Will see if I get around to that during the weekend or if I will be working my daytime job most of it. managed to install the fuel cell and the fuel line that goes to the top mounted pump. Will se if I will ad a filler in the mid of the bed. I have also started looking at the shock issue.

I cant agree more. Best kit reviews online that i have found. I dont have patience for most and i even fast forward his allot but they are for sure good! An other good thing to se whats in the box is old 1999.co.jp/eng and https://www.super-hobby.co.uk which make good shots of all the sprue trees and instructions.

I have some paint issues. Some how my hood must have scraped something else and the roll pan had scratch marks that I could not see in primer.. and of course orange peel that have to be addressed. best practice is that to wetsand with 3000 now and the clear? And then sand again? @Steve H

Body is Now black. Some dust but overal looks Good so far.

What would the the gas milage be!? And how far would the truck go before the first belt came of! He will never get there! ? I did my best. Cool idea on the truck btw!
