Painted Black

I'm finding that out.! Tried it on a spare body, yuck!! I can live with the tooo thick BMF in most cases, but not sticking won't get it. I was told that it was my paint, that if it sticks to bare plastic there is nothing wrong with it!! WHO BMF's bare plastic?

I hope your wrong also!! I really liked using BMF and learning to use this pen....well...we'll see. They will have to change the wording on their package. "All the details don't show thru"

My world man are you not just going a bit overboard? Have you ever even built a model? What your trying to do is just impossible, lets say you have all the weights and measurements you need to apply a perfect paint job, NOW comes the assembly, yes, gotta break out the glue, ever used glue? Its a messy substance that can ruin a perfect paint job in a second!! Did you just pick your nose, oh no, now there's snot residue on that perfect paint.....etc.. etc...etc.... Just build the dang model and quit being so friggin anal!!!!

Well. it's not perfect, but at least the wheels are straight now, also has brakes....needs tie rods made and then its back to getting it finished.

The only way I have found to get a match is to tape the front to the rear and paint as one..

Thanks for the replies, I just found out that replacement "nibs" come in a bunch of different shapes, so I will be ordering some asst. nibs. Thanks Note to BMF; get it together or else you've lost a long time customer!!

Was wondering if any have reshaped the tip on their pen. I got a 2mm tip and the end is round, would like to make it flat-wedge type. will it ruin the tip if I cut it up? Thanks

Hey Mike, I like to use a cotton ball that is soaked in Future and just rub it on very lightly, doing several coast. Every time I have tried to airbrush I get runs and buildup in the corners. Got my wheels made up. Started with these unknown to me wheels Drilled out the holes and added some black paint, the rears are made from the kits wheel with the centers cut out. Later
