I try I really do... Not much to report since I'm having trouble finding some key parts for the Stude engine, I may have to "Frankstein" it with some parts that are close enough. Couple more boxes to go thru, in the mean time, enjoy a couple I did awhile back.

Pledge Floor Care, last new name I remember?

Those Chevelle tires are going to be quite large under a 32, but will work. Here is a pic of a 32 frame for ref. If you have a AMT 57 Chevy street machine, it has a nice set of rear half rails that could be worked into the 32 frame.. Hope this helps

Back...with a new attitude
Painted Black replied to customline's topic in Welcome! Introduce Yourself
I did just that a few months ago, I got rid of just about every kit and all junk I could, it was quite the relief ... I've slowed down to no more than 6 or 7 at a time!! Welcome back -
Update: finally decided on an engine, will be a souped up Studebaker... have my final decision on wheels and tires, plain 40 Ford steel wheels, chromed. skinny pie crust slicks for the rear and some small generic fronts. So with wheels/tires picked out I can get started on mounting the rear axle, just a plain ole Banjo.. Oh yeah, will not be running the hood sides!!

Man this is just awesome, awesome color, awesome engine, and those grape Americans, just too cool.

That is a beauty, love the fade paint. The wipers are a bit of a distraction.

I once tried building this with the front grille section painted separate! Big time fail... now I always assembly first and paint as a unit. Hope it works out for you.. Cool color for a Mustang.

Hey Bob, engine looks real good! I just made a trade for the Pinto version of this kit, once I do an inventory of parts missing I might start a wip.
