This is what is holding mine up at the moment, I have straightened them but they start sagging real quick.

Been working on this AMT Chevelle, got some paint on it, ain't perfect but I think I can work with it. I'll let it cure for a few days then rub it down with some Future.

Yeah that green should look real good, like Mike said the hood needs some tweaking, I may dig mine out and see if I can finish it.

Looking mighty good.

I have a question, why the two different seat patterns? Is it the way the kit comes or? Thanks

Looks like your on the home stretch should look good in that blue.

Thanks James, it is a fairly good kit, good bit of flash as you say, My reason for stopping on this one is the front axle is so small in diameter that it will not hold the weight of the model without bowing at the wheels. I planned on building a new axle but just have to many other things going. I will finish it someday..

I also find it odd that Mecum doesn't give a detailed history of the car. If it has a history why not lay it out. Something is fishy IMO -

I've been searching for info on this subject for some time now, and have come pretty much to the same conclusion, can not find a single picture of the car that goes beyond those that you find where the car is for sale, can not find any pre history either. If it was run back in the day, it must have been under a different name. -
Man, that is sharp. Great color application.

Removing future gloss

Should have used a wax remover/degreaser before the future. Future likes a really clean surface to stick and lay down flat too. -

I don't think anyone is "pissed" off, but you did open the door!! There is a thread on this subject elsewhere on this board covering this subject, you should have posted this there. Don't leave just because we didn't respond in your favor. Look forward to more of your builds. -
Sorry guys, these have been pushed so far back that I do not see them getting finished, thats just the way it goes sometimes.

Just think if that gate had been you. bears are mean creatures. Yesterday I was headed out to get in my truck, dang bobcat cat was lying under the bed, he took off real quick, probably scared me more than him.
