I haven't been around for much of the month thanks to my job. School runs, sports charters and field trips have kept both my school bus and I busy. Thankfully, it all ended last week. I'm beat but my bank account has gotten a whole lot fatter.

A Happy Thanksgiving to all from the state that started it all.

I'm not sure if I'm irked about this or not but last Friday, my mechanic checked my trusty Accord for a major power steering leak and couldn't find the source. He filled the power steering reservoir and told me to keep an eye on it. Since. then, the reservoir stayed full and I park the car in different spots at work and at home to check for the leak but not a drop was found on the ground. It's a quirky little car.

I unsubscribed from some automotive channels that I've been watching for a longtime on YouTube when the owners switched their narration to AI. The sound of the AI voices was irritating.

Glad to see John is doing much better. Thanks Mike.

It's been a while since I got anything on E Bay so I can lower the balance on the plastic to a manageable level and got this 1965 Ford Galaxie to add to my promo fleet with it. It came in on Friday and cleaned it up when I got home from work. It came out great. Here it is on E Bay just as I bought it.

A lady friend who doesn't have a car was itching to go to the flea market in Salem NH today so I said no problem. Besides, the weather was sunny and low 70s all weekend. Perfect for a cruise and to get out of the house.

Same here The last rear wheel drive car I owned was an 86 Olds Cutlass Supreme and I constantly got stuck in snow with it. My current car a 97 Accord and the car it replaced a 98 Olds 88 were the best front wheel drive cars I had. Both would power their way through snow.

Since the three cars that ran the stop sign on my school bus and were pinched by the cops a few weeks back, I've been binge watching videos on YouTube showing the Karma cops in action. I'm pausing that to give a couple of my vintage model cars some attention.

It's a 1997 but it has no major rust issues. At my request, my mechanic inspected the car's entire bottom while it was on the lift for some exhaust work awhile back and said it's solid.

Very nice build Steve. The blue paint is as smooth as glass.

My trusty Accord started to have a steering issue that I can only describe as "Squirrely" On the advice of my mechanic, I can't drive it on the highway until he can take a closer at the car at his shop on Tuesday. That means I won't be able to attend the Classic Plastic model car show and contest in Lawrence Mass. on Sunday. I'm bummed over it but as a school bus driver, "Safety" is my middle name.

I'm 100% with you on that.

Atlantis has become quite proficient at replacing parts and in a timely manner to the satisfaction of it's customers. Hats of to the folks at the company.

I was doing my morning school run as always and while picking up the kids, three cars drove by the stop sign that was out. However, the second car in the opposing lane was a local undercover cop car and two officers in it somehow saw what was happening and took action. The cop driving pulled out the cruiser with the lights on to block the three cars and the other cop got out and ordered them to the side of the road. I beeped at them to thank them and they waved back. Seeing the Karma cops on duty made my day.

My trusty Accord needed a bath so I employed a company perk which is having the use of a bay in the garage to vacuum the interior and wash the exterior of the car. It saved me $35 to $40 at the local car wash. I got permission from our GM who's cool as anything. As long as one asks him politely, he'll glad make sure that one receives.

A great actor. He provided Darth Vader's iconic voice. He starred in films such as "The Hunt For Red October" from 1991 and "Conan" from 1982. RIP Mr. Jones.

I'm hoping one of the vendors has one model that I've been looking for which is a built MPC 1974 Chevrolet Caprice 2 Dr. I had one but I sold it off as part of a batch of nicely built cars back around 2014 when I was in a bit of a cash crunch. I've been kicking myself in the hiney since. Should have kept it.
