    Man that's a pretty red. Zooming in I can see the orange peel but I sure think with some compounding and polishing it will be fine. Suggestions guys?

    Thank you Greg, Chaz and James. I've done a few '57's and the seats on this one came out the best so far. I was hesitant to do the silver piping but I'm glad I did.

    The door panel trim is actually ModelMasters Chrome, the door handles and window cranks are Molotow Chrome.. As for the piping on the seats, I used narrow cut strips of BMF. First time I ever did this on the Bel Air seats. Luckily I still have a little of the old good BMF that actually sticks.

    My HL had some of the Autoborne on clearence so obviously that was the last of them. I use the 4011 reducer and a few drops of 4030 Balancing Clear. The 4030 gives it a nice sheen ( a kind of satin look) and helps it lay down nicely

    It is a nice kit with great detail and parts. Are you trying to get me to reveal the color David??? Ditto on the wheels Roger and thats why not using them.

    Works good for me and unless the new stuff is different than the old its plenty glossy. Just sayin'.
