  1. I did post this for my benefit and thought it would be helpful. I had some silicone type glue but but still had a problem with using too much and got a small blob (if that makes sense). But, it was sticky enough that it only took a few seconds holding it for it to stay in place.. I'll have to do better next time.
  2. Great job Todd, but did you shorten the body like Smokey was said to have done??
  3. Good looker there Craig.?
  4. Very nice Bill. The '57 snap kit is a really good quick build kit. One down for me and another to come. Good work.
  5. Welcome, good looking old "REAL" stock cars.
  6. Wow Mike, that looks great? Non-Impala bubble tops are cool.
  7. Great work on the Poncho John. Love the S/S'ers during the few years of their existance. You nailed the Pontiac and S/S vibe??
  8. I just checked, it's on Spotify. I'll give it a listen.
  9. I'll have to check it out, not sure I've heard the A&R album.
  10. Stunning!! A true work of art Thomas???
  11. Being a born at a time when my hot rodding interests started in the early muscle car years (early 60's) I'm prone to building muscle of the early 60's to early 70's and replicas of mine and my wife's former cars. Her first muscle car was a '66 GTO Convertable and mine a '66 Chevelle SS (bought new). Also, with my Dad having 3 different '57 Chevy Bel Airs (one a convertable, 2-2Dr hardtops of which on he gave me upon H.S. graduation) I have built a few with more to come. I do subscribe to Hemmings Muscle Car mag but as for reference it's the internet.
  12. As usual Mario, another masterpiece. If all that chrome is BMF you did a super job?
  13. Well James we have something other than modelling in common. Big Allman Bro fan here too especially with Warren Haynes and Derik Trucks strumming and sliding? Our daughter is also a self taught guitar player. Has a John Mayer strat, another strat, Gretsch Electromastic, Martin Acoustic Electric and I play a little on Peavy bass and a Fender Acoustic bass.
  14. Looking good Mike, thats some jacked up rear!!?
  15. Well Ryan for a youngster you did a great job and hopefully you can get your dream car.
  16. Excellent work, looks very real?
  17. Great job Ian. ?
  18. Thanks guys. I hesitate using the CA fearing fogging the clear plastic. What MM glue are you referring to Miles? I like the Silicone idea. Gotta see if I have any that's not dried up?
  19. As many know I'm not new to building model cars but I'm posing this question not only for me but I'm sure others that may have an interest here. I'm using white Testors Clear Parts cement and this mirror on my current build has been fighting me all afternoon. I can't hold it steady enough for long enough for it to set. What do you guys' do???
  20. Really great detail work Dennis and informative post. Impressive?
  21. Very nicely done Jim? I've had this kit for a few years....maybe one day I'll do it.
  22. This is the first time I looked at this thread. Wow Craig, what impressive work you have done on this. I don't build the old hot rods but like how they look and this is killer?
