  1. Didn't even know what if aircraft was a thing. Heck, I wouldn't have even known this was never a real production plane.
  2. I will definitely be following this one. I have wanted to build a bike for a while but just haven't.
  3. Sitting outside the local Ollies.
  4. Lots of uses I didn't even think of!! Funny that we all have such an abundance of empty med bottles around.
  5. Somebody makes a PE sheet of scribing blades that fit into an exacto knife handle. I have them, they work well. I just wish I remembered where I got them.
  6. I brush paint a lot of interior and detail parts. I actually enjoy the brush painting as it allows me to take my time and relax more with the model. Multiple thin coats is the key. I will sometimes just do one coat a day over several days. It's monotonous but works for me. That being said, I don't brush Tamiya paints. I have tried, didn't like it and only spray them now.
  7. Is the purpose of the question to determine how to remove them whole and re-use them? I don't see any way they can be removed then re-used.
  8. I do the same. Works great.
  9. I use them for paint washes. I'm too cheap to buy panel line paint. I have washes in black, various browns and green for weathering.
  10. I get the feeling those selling use shipping as the guaranteed sales price then use the bidding to pay the actual shipping and any over the top profit.
  11. running some masking tape on either side of the panel line and using a very fine blade may minimize the amount of chipping that happens. That being said, the amount of actual scribing you can achieve will be minimal and may not be worth the extra effort to avoid what will most likely happen anyway.
  12. It's gotten so that shipping doubles the purchase price.
  13. Extra tank and battery now safely tucked away in the trunk.
  14. That is what I always experienced too. Figured out that in order to get a totally opaque image you will need a printer that prints the actual color white. Or use the white decal paper and get really good with an exacto knife
  15. That is more inventory and organization than I see in most hobby shops!!
  16. Definitely worth the trip. Still an operational shop as well with a full shop devoted to producing wooden spoked wheels. Cool to see.
  17. In Chattanooga, TN. Way too much to take pictures of but here are some I managed to get.
  18. You can't get kicked out. If you finish by the end great, if not, then you are not alone. This year there is a lot of early activity. It tends to die down then pick up again around September.
  19. I really want to build something with googly eyes for headlights now.
  20. Managed to get about a 1/8" blob of superglue on the roof. Pretty thrilled with that. Of course it happened after the glass is in and the trim is painted. Looks like some sanding, a lot of taping and a little repainting are in my future.
  21. Looks Great!! what printer did you use?
  22. not excited...not sure why, just seems flat. Too smooth with that minimal grill opening and weird hood dip in the front. If you told me this was the new Nissan I wouldn't be surprised.
  23. Got the topcoat on the body and working on finishing up the interior.
