  1. In Chattanooga, TN. Way too much to take pictures of but here are some I managed to get.
  2. You can't get kicked out. If you finish by the end great, if not, then you are not alone. This year there is a lot of early activity. It tends to die down then pick up again around September.
  3. I really want to build something with googly eyes for headlights now.
  4. Managed to get about a 1/8" blob of superglue on the roof. Pretty thrilled with that. Of course it happened after the glass is in and the trim is painted. Looks like some sanding, a lot of taping and a little repainting are in my future.
  5. Looks Great!! what printer did you use?
  6. not excited...not sure why, just seems flat. Too smooth with that minimal grill opening and weird hood dip in the front. If you told me this was the new Nissan I wouldn't be surprised.
  7. Got the topcoat on the body and working on finishing up the interior.
  8. price tag is $65K. Waaaay too rich for my blood.
  9. Nice Demon that I found online for sale locally. Couldn't convince my wife that it would be a viable replacement to our family car.
  10. Went to see it in the theater when I was 13.
  11. Thanks. I'm not sure yet if I want to do a candy read over the top or just clear coat it as is. Probably the latter.
  12. Managed to finally get the base color on.
  13. Here's a fun one- Small wire ties sold as "1/6 scale" flex cuffs.
  14. Congratulations!! Looks great. Hoping to get mine completed just as soon as my available time lines up with weather I can paint in.
  15. Goes to show that any problem can be solved with a bottle of Sambuca and a bunch of AA batteries. ?
  16. My little bit of progress for the weekend.
  17. Cougar and funny car for me out of this group. Been waiting for that Cougar for a while.
  18. May still have these in the decal stash. I know I didn't use them on the build. I'll take a look tonight and let you know.
  19. That looks awesome. Great job on the metal finishes and the exhaust coloring.
  20. Very nice. I like seeing other scales. Yours looks great.
  21. Very minimum, I'll put clear drying glue over the top of them. If I'm in the mood to be more detailed, drill them out or at least deeper, then if no aftermarket lenses are available I make my own out of clear plastic. I am lucky enough to have some hand tools for setting domed rivets in leather. I use that to dome out the plastic and there was a thread on here somehwere about how to add the texture or lines to make them look more realistic. Only ever done this on round headlights.
  22. Looking over the list again. This is going to be an awesome year. Lots of variety and some really cool builds going on. I love seeing all the different takes people have on their builds.
  23. There aren't a lot of HD kits out there. The ones that are tend to be pretty spendy (at least to me). There is a facebook group dedicated to scale motorcycle modeling that I follow that is pretty good. I haven't jumped into the motorcycle building myself yet but have thought about it a lot. Tryin to find something that isn't a race bike, trike or chopper has been a challenge.
