That built up beautifully Mario. I have one of these kits and have put off building it due to the fitment issues you've described. Now that I understand what assists in the final assembly process I'll be more eager to build the kit.

That build looks beautiful and in a well suited color. What base did you use under the TS-58 and was it clear coated? I've used this color in the past and while it's looked nice, I much prefer the look on this model.

Thanks Roger, there's no need to post a photo I can understand how to modify the pick from your description.

Interesting concept and an idea I hadn't considered. Some sort of guide to keep the scribe of choice from wandering.

How did you modify the pick? I like the part about no wandering outside the panel lines. I'm comfortable scribing most panel lines but the more tightly radiused corners do pose a challenge for me at times.

It's an extremely clean build with excellent detail work.

Thank you Anders. Thanks Alan. I've included a picture of the can and I get it at the home center. I like it since it holds up pretty well to more aggressive wet sanding without burning through the finish. And I polish it with Meguiars Scratch-X.

I love it! Great work integrating the semi fastback roofline into the MC body. Looks like you've also adjusted the panel line on the trunk opening to coordinate with the shape of the rear window. I was always a fan of the louvers on the Lagunas rear quarter windows, and they work well here along with the hood louvers from the Camaro. Definitely a one-of-a-kind build.

Another stunning build Craig. If I ever get an airbrush someday, I'll have to try these paints as you've developed some awesome looking colors.

Is that Testors Turquoise over the black base coat? While the Bonneville looks very good with the white primer that GTO appears to be a color I'd be very interested in replicating on a future mid '60's build.

Great looking transformation and excellent work fitting the LS7 in the engine compartment. I've never seen that color before but I very well may get a can since I have a thing for green cars.

Looks great. I never used the Tamiya Pearl Blue on a silver base before but now I would like to use that process. I really like the look it provides.

Turned out great and the color is well suited for the era. I won't be able to start mine until next spring since the weather has gotten too cold for painting bodies.

Thanks for the info David and I'm not surprised it's an older can since that shade of blue isn't so common anymore. Not a bad idea to visit estate sales. In the meanwhile I have this '62 kit unbuilt so I'll be following along.
