Great work Eric! I'm a fan of Bahama Blue myself and think it always looks good on a Camaro.

Thanks Ray, that's good to know since I like using Tamiya sprays. Also important to know it is a good idea to use white primer.

How does the TS-16 apply Ray? I've haven't tried yellow on a model yet since I've heard it can be difficult to apply.

Thank you and sorry for the late response, but the lower body rocker trim is actually household aluminum foil. I applied it with a product I found at Michaels called Tacky Glue and the trick is to keep the coat of glue as thin as possible.

Paint looks fantastic!

Thanks EMRE, I like taking photos outdoors, but I am also working on improving my indoor pictures.

Thanks Roger, I like colors such as this light which are less commonly seen on these cars. Thanks David, I wish more kits had grooved tires for painting sidewall stripes like this one.

Thank you, Hector and Carl.

Wow! That looks awesome. I bought one of these kits a couple years ago since it's my favorite year of the first generation Toronado.

Paint looks great and I admire the engine compartment detailing.

That is a really sharp looking build. Great work!

That is a stunning build in a great color combination. Another model Round 2 needs to reissue since it's been a while.

Thank you Rastislav, and Larry.

Very nice build and great looking color for the era. I built one of these also from the Prestige Series and the chrome was faded. Had to get a replacement set of bumpers.

Turned out great and the gray metallic seems very suitable for the era. Red mid body striping turned out very nice. -
Thank you, Thomas, Craig, and Dennis.

Excellent work and great job foiling the headlight bezels.

That is a really beautiful '70 Goat. Paint is fantastic.

Thank you, Lee. And I've gotten used to the look of the wiper blades.

Thank you Glen, JK and Bill. Thanks Robert and yes styling from that era in general is sorely missing on the roads today. Thank you, Chris, James and Bob. I do have an affinity for white interiors. Thank you John. The door panel lines were deepened with the back edge of a slightly worn #11 hobby blade. I do all of my models in that fashion. Thanks Jim. I haven't been on here for a few months and just saw your orange '67 Impala. Looks absolutely gorgeous in the sunlight. Thank you, Philippe. Thanks David, and I felt fortunate to find this color with the modern offerings from Dupli-Color. The black lower body color is not only correct for this particular model but also adds such a nice accent.

A stunning copper color.

Thanks for your comments, Bruce, Mike, Harry, and Gerald. The '67 and '68 fastback Impalas are my most favorite. Thank you, Rusty. The color reminded me of Mountain Green that was available that year and not as commonly seen on these cars. I have to be honest and say I didn't sand off the detail on the passenger wheel housing but I'll most likely take care of it on my next build.

AMT 1/25 scale 1967 Impala SS-427 that was built from a 1997 issue kit. Painted in Dupli-color Hampsted Green (a Honda color) and cleared with Rust-Oleum Lacquer (green label can). Excellent kit overall that required some massaging to get the body mated to the chassis. The model has all of the markings of the SS-427 model except for the "Super Sport" emblem above the taillights which should be a "Chevrolet" script. I hadn't noticed the incorrect emblem until I was polishing the paint otherwise it would have been removed. I have a couple of the newer releases of this kit which have side view mirrors but since this kit did not, I used a spare mirror from the Revell '69 Camaro. I filled the grooves in the tires with Deco-Art Cherry Red acrylic paint. The trim lines are nicely defined for foiling but since it is an older kit the chrome has some blemishes in a few spots. Definitely looking forward to building another one of these in the near future. And lastly, I somehow managed to reverse the correct positioning of the wiper blades which become apparent.....after the super glue dried.
