  1. Great looking transformation and excellent work fitting the LS7 in the engine compartment. I've never seen that color before but I very well may get a can since I have a thing for green cars.
  2. Thanks Craig.
  3. Looks great. I never used the Tamiya Pearl Blue on a silver base before but now I would like to use that process. I really like the look it provides.
  4. Thank you Larry, Hector and Carl. I'll probably get started on another one next spring.
  5. Turned out great and the color is well suited for the era. I won't be able to start mine until next spring since the weather has gotten too cold for painting bodies.
  6. Thanks Peter. My foiling on the wheel openings could've been better. Overall, I'm satisfied. Thanks Antonio.
  7. Thanks Ron, and Rastislav. The '66 GTO was definitely one of Pontiacs best looking cars.
  8. Thanks for the info David and I'm not surprised it's an older can since that shade of blue isn't so common anymore. Not a bad idea to visit estate sales. In the meanwhile I have this '62 kit unbuilt so I'll be following along.
  9. Great looking Vette and a less commonly seen year in a scale model.
  10. Beautiful mirror shine on the clear Bob. I also like the spark plug boots.
  11. Thank you Lee, Larry, David, James and Bruce. Thanks, Glen, Harry, Eric and Dennis Thanks Mario, I've started early morning pictures on sunny days, and I like how they're turning out. Thanks Ken, John, Chris and Tommy. Thank you Bill. I used Tamiya black panel wash. I used it on my '67 Impala recently and I like how it tones down the kit chrome. Thank you Bob, Tommy, Steve, and David. Thanks Ryan. I have a couple more of these kits but I did pick up an MPC '67 just to see what I could potentially make of it. Haven't done it yet though. Thanks Mike, I may do my build with a vinyl top. They're such great kits. Thanks Dave and good luck with the build. They are such beautiful automobiles.
  12. What is the color and brand of the base coat? I really like it and you're off to a nice start.
  13. And a few indoor pictures.....
  14. Built from the current Revell issue of the 1/25 scale '66 GTO. Painted in Ford Toreador Red and cleared with Rust-Oleum in the green label can. Simply a very well detailed kit that was a pleasure to build.
  15. Glad to see the Monte Carlo especially with the whitewall tires.
  16. Very nice. I just got completed a model with Dupli-Color Forest Green Pearl and it looks very similar to the color on your Mustang.
  17. Another flawless paint job. Great work.
  18. Those really look impressive. Nice work.
  19. Great looking build and in one of GM's best-looking colors that year.
  20. Great looking Goat Mario. Have not seen any these recently in yellow and definitely a good choice.
  21. Great work on both Cutlass models David. That is a very attractive green I wish were available in a similar hobby or auto lacquer in a can since I don't have an airbrush. I considered getting the coupe version of the '64 but I didn't since I was concerned about getting the bodyside molding done correctly. Now that I see yours I think it looks fine not detailed.
  22. Great looking paint finish. I love this old promo style kit. I built this Customizing Series version when it was first issued then found and built one about three years ago when I got back into the hobby.
  23. Thanks, Helmut, Bob, and Steve.
  24. Thanks Bill, Chris and Tommy.
  25. A great build with excellent detailing.
