  10. Great Paint Work!
  11. My reply disappeared. I am doing my foil the same way. I have so a 1/4 inch fine line I had left over from painting some Harley parts and put that down first, the foil, burnish and trim. The excess foil comes off with the fine line tape. I can reuse the excess
  12. For painting model bodies, any size is ok- you will get used to it. Practice on plastic spoons. Lots os them. The createx that I have used, I did need to thin down. Check out me thread in WIP country Charger. I do kind a stop by step on how I do it. You can see the reusults.
  13. Mike! That is exactly how I’m doing it. I have some left over 1/4 fine line from some Harley parts I painted and am putting that down first. I ordered some #11 blades, but the haven’t come in yet, and I’m still waiting on the drill bits. I’m so impatient. I have to remember to be gentile with this stuff. Used to working on 1:1 stuff
  14. I guess. Am impatient. I polishe and started the BMF not sure if I am up to BMF the wheel well moldings....more to come
  15. Looking good! I usually glue the headers on then set the engine in the chassis with the exhaust to make sure everything lines up.
  16. Yes! That will get you started off on the right foot. Learn about thinking the paint, use plastic spoons to practice
  17. I hope so. First look at the kit, isn’t great. The tail lights are completely wrong and not well crafted. I’ll have to get creative to make it look decent!
  18. Thanks Mike. Here is the paint I used
  19. I’m waiting for spring! Once I can play with the real toys, this will slow way down
  20. I hav always wanted to own a car that I could get a model of. Last year I bought a 1:1 Camaro. This a snap kit, but it will be cool to do a simple build this time
  21. Looks great!
  22. Just picked this up. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a Trans Am
