What came to mind when I read the question is this... I have been wanting to build it for years! Soon, I hope.

Thin clear plastic is everywhere in our lives. Product packaging is a good example. One idea is to buy a box with pre-printed cards (invitations, thank you's, etc) as they usually have a clear cover. Otherwise, any good hobby shop sells sheet stock plastic... just ask at the counter. Happy hunting!

Nice work man! What I first noticed... you blacked out the edges of the window BMF to show the rubber gasket that would hold the window in. It's that attention to detail that really works! Two thumbs up!

Turn that dune buggy over. Is there a brand name on the chassis? Motor Max? Welly? Jada? BTW, this kit will be on store shelves later this year...

Hey Jerry I'd love to partake, but I don't have anything to qualify. Although I do currently have my Ford 37/57 Pickem Up on my bench (OK... dining room table ) It MAY end up with the nailhead... is that a 312 ci? Besides, am I even allowed to partake in anything "Spotlight"? I did make some bad choices, and pay the price. Actually, Spotlight is a good board, lots of participation over there (yeah, I keep my eye on it) I hope you get some results here. Sharing between the boards can't hurt I say. Tell them to come on over here... most of us are clean, we have had all our shots, and most of us are house trained.

That's NOT a stupid question! There are no stupid questions... only stupid bosses. Yes I use Dupli Primer/Sealer on plastic, works fine. I use it as the "base" primer, adding other primers as needed over it.

I prefer to work in peace and quiet. There is so little of that these days. I don't care for the radio stations around here... it's all yap, yap, yap. Non-stop commercials and yack with a song thrown in here and there. And like TV, the commercials are created by coked-out idiots who aim for the twelve year old brains. I would like to try satellite radio but I cannot afford another monthly payment. Only exception is during the season I will listen to the Red Sox game on TV.
