  1. I've seen the die cast models of the 1948 Tucker Torpedo created by Preston Tucker but was there ever a plastic model produced? I just thought it was a car ahead of it's time like the Studebaker Avanti was.
  2. Picked this up yesterday at Wally World and think it will be my next build. I'm kinda parcel to the Fat Fender cars & trucks so this one caught my eye really quick. I don't think I've seen this one posted here since I've been a member. Never had an MPC kit before so if you have built this model I'm looking for the pro's and con's and pics.
  3. Nice. All shiny like a new penny.
  4. Kewl looking Vette. I like the wheels and tires.
  5. Thanks Carl and Dave. Yeah.....I'm due for some good luck. I do think I finally came up with a painting process that's repeatable and looks good. It only took me 6 months ☺
  6. I'd have to agree with just buying new blades as cheap as they are. Amazon.com: DIYSELF 200 PCS Hobby Knife Blades, High Carbon Steel #11 Refill Craft Art Blades Cutting Tool with Storage Case for Craft, Hobby, Scrapbooking, Stencil : Everything Else
  7. Good looking Charger.
  8. Nice site. Thanks for posting the link.
  9. Kewl looking ride. Nice job.
  10. Nice looking Thunderbird. Well done.
  11. Nice looking model. Great job.
  12. Nice mods. Good looking pickup. Great job.
  13. WOW.....that's a good looking Oldsmobile Dave. That color just pops. Fantastic build.
  14. Good looking little 4 door wagon. Nice job. Not sure about the beer choice.
  15. Nice looking build.
  16. What a great looking car. Love the color and the wheels are killer.
  17. The body and interior look great. That body co!or really makes the car. Great job.
  18. Sorry you had issues with the Rust-Oleum Lee. I use the gray 2X primer for all my paint jobs no matter what paint. I think my 66 Nova was primed with Rust-Olem 2X and the top coat and clear was Rust-Olem. 2X. Didn't have any issues. I found out early on that the 2X sprays out really heavy and you have to be careful.
  19. This 29 has been a struggle. Finally got some good weather to shoot some clear. I'll start the assembly in a couple days.
  20. Just got back from WM and to my surprise they had the model display up. It was pretty picked over but I did pick up an MPC 32 Ford Sedan Delivery. Ended up costing me $26.72 out the door. A little more than I like to pay but what the heck. Also picked up a display case at HL.
  21. Those prices are not to bad.
  22. Came out pretty nice. Great detail work.
  23. Like everyone else said.....looks great. Black is hard to paint but yours turned out nice.
  24. All the mods seem to flow just fine. Color looks nice. Looking good.
  25. I guess I'll have to take a trip to WM and see if any models have shown up. When I look up model kits on the WM site they are all shipped from somewhere and the prices are just way to high. I probably wouldn't pay $40-$60 for one of their kits. What are the prices on the kits you fellow are seeing?
