  1. Looking good James. The 50 Chevy pickup was my first build getting back into the hobby and I put a BB in the business end. I memory serves me correct, didn't have room for the radiator.
  2. Thanks for the info Steve. The are not Tamiya but I do use the pointed Qtips and a toothpic. This section of the bmf sheet seem to really be bad. The first time I used a section off the sheet it didn't wrinkle up but this time it did. Don't know what the difference is but it just would not lay down very good.
  3. Nice choices. I really like the Thunderbird.
  4. Now that's a good lookin old Model T. Colors looks great. Well done. I like the tilt out front windshield. Reminds me of the 37 Ford pickup 1:1 I had.
  5. Thanks Mike and James. I saw HL had the 50 Chevy in stock when I was there but just not ready for another one just yet.
  6. I know you have Mike. Just thought we could hit them from all sides so to speak.
  7. That's looking bodacious so for Mike. Maybe someone will chime in that has an extra drivers side step that's willing to part with it.
  8. Yeah that trim painting does look like a lot of work but it is an option. Boy.....what a steady hand he has for the detail on the door panels.
  9. Really nice work on all the detail. Wish I had a steady hand like you do.
  10. Moving slow on this one. Got a little painting done this morning before I get on the Honey do's. I stole the "Thrift Master" decals from the 50 Chevy parts box and the chrome air breather from the 67 Chevelle parts box.
  11. Just came across this post Mike. Nice looking 57 Gasser. Love the Gassers. I think the front end height rule was 24" to the center of the crank pully.
  12. I guess I missed this one. Nice looking 41 Plymouth. The two tone paint looks pretty kewl.
  13. A Gasser Bug. This should be a kewl build dude. I like what I see already. I'll be watching.
  14. I sent an email to Bare Metal Foil (https://www.bare-metal.com/) and ask if they could clear this issue up to set the record straight and I have not heard back. I guess we're on our own fellows.
  15. Yeah, these ads are terrible. It makes browsing the site very unpleansant. Every page I click on the ads just dominates the page.
  16. I just tried the bmf on my 1960 Chevy pickup build this morning and it looked smooth before I peeled it off the sheet. Once I peeled it off the sheet it looked wrinkled and did not go on and stick very well. I bought this bmf about a month ago from my local hobby shop.

    283 FI engine

The 283 was one of the best engines Chevrolet ever built. Nice looking display.
  18. Nice looking paint of 29's.
  19. Got to do some work on my pickup this morning so I thought I would try a little foil work as it seen to go pretty good on my 65 Impala. Not the same results on my pickup. The foil looks wrinkled when I peel it off the sheet and did not want to stay down at all. If I touch it, it will come up. Very disappointed. Haven't decide if I'm going to tear it off and just paint it.
  20. Your 49 is coming along nicely. I'm diggin the Yosemite Sam floor matts.
  21. Welcome back Harry.
  22. Welcome Randy. Building cars & trucks are like eating potato chips, you can't just build one.

    My 67 vette

Good looking 67 Vette. Almost looks like a candy apple red.
  24. What a nice looking wagon. Well done. I also like the yellow wagon in the case.
  25. Harry, can you explain the "embossing powder" process you used for the carpet?
