  1. Welcome to the forum. Nice to see another truck lover.
  2. Thanks Mark & Mike. I was getting a little bit worried when I had to start cutting so much off. My hats off to fellows that scratch build.
  3. Ok guys & gals. I have a rolling chassis. The wheels & tires were to wide to fit the box on so I first tried to shave down the back of the wheel hub with my Dremel tool but it wasn't enough. Now I'm in unknown territory. I had to also shave down the end of the axial and remove the backing plate. I finally got the wheels to fit. Good thing cause I was out of options.
  4. Really sharp looking car. All the detail work looks great. That orange looks really good. Nice job.

    1971 GTX

    I like it. Nice job.
  6. It was a hoot to drive. It was an old school Hot Rod. High HP, no PS/PB/, 4 speed, arm out the window.
  7. Man did that clear make that red pop. Looking sharp MI!e.
  8. I'll take that in a 1:1. Sharp looking car man.
  9. Really sharp looking 37. I love the ole fat fender cars/trucks. I had a 1:1 37 Ford truck street rod.
  10. Nicely done. Not something I would build but that's just me. Great job.

    Outlaw Nova

That's a tough looking Nova. Nice.
  12. Nice looking little bug Lee. That paint looks awesome.
  13. Ray, I'm getting close to the trouble area in the build so I'll Check the fit. That's.
  14. I searched everywhere for some wire insulation that would fit over my 30 AWG plug wires and finally I hit pay dirt. It was a pain to strip the green insulation off and fitted on the plug wire but it turned out fine. Both spark plugs left of the coil were short shots from the mold but it looks ok I guess. I left the boots green as it kinda looked kewl. I think I'm done with the engine so I'm moving on.
  15. Pretty good looking 59. I like!e the old stuff.
  16. Hey.....did you pull that out of my back yard by the barn ☺ I hate to see a Tri-five in that condition but really nice work on the weathering.
  17. Really nice looking Studebaker Gassers. Great detail work. I know I couldn't build 3 at once like that because I have trouble with just one in front of me☺
  18. Nice looking project you have going on. As for as the hood warp, maybe you could bend it a little past nominal then wrap some tape around it to hold it there. Next, gentley hit it with the heat gun then remove the tape once it cools. Don't know if that will work or ot but its a quick method to try.
  19. What Jim said. My local HL does not sell the Paasche H. Its a very nice air brush for the money.
  20. Nice looking Camaro. That color looks sharp with the red line tires.
  21. Thanks for the tips and kind words Gerald. I'll definitely keep those tips in mind.
  22. I've used Rustoleum Gray primer, craft paint from Hobby Lobby, and Rustoleum Clear Gloss. I've also used Tamiya TS-13 and Pledge Revive it floor gloss. You can obtain a matt or Simi gloss finish with light coats.
  23. James. Take a look at this video. Maybe it will help. I also use the Passche H single action air brush.
  24. That is really super clean. Shines like a new penny. Great job.
  25. Nice clean little bug. I like how you used a permanent marker for the fender welting.
