  1. Sorry forgot to post the pic. Okay thank you.
  2. Sounds reasonable, but how would I attach it to this part in the pic? Drill hole same size at the back of the rod or cut off the wheel back attachment part, and just glue it on?
  3. I’ll be doing the Foose 65 Chevy impala for a friend eventually, and she wants aftermarket rims instead of the Foose versions. These are the rims & tires and specs. Not sure how big the rims and tires are that came with the Foose kit as my caliper broke. These Pegasus wheels use the metal bar as an insert and the Foose version isn’t set up for that. So how would I use the custom inner wheel part from the kit with the Pegasus wheels? First time doing something like this. I think the Pegasus set would fit with no clearance issues, just not sure how to install them. Should I get these as well to go with them? The rims are T23’s Inner Diameter: 18mm Outer Diameter: 26mm Width: 11mm
  4. Going basic on this one no scribed panels etc. But got one side foiled so far.
  5. Well that clear is a soft clear as it’s not 2K. So you have to be careful, and use around 2-3K RPMs. I use these for polishing clear, the attachment part in the pic isn’t showing the 1/8 shank you’ll need for it to work with a dremel. Black pads can be use for wax as the black pads have no cut, and yellow is medium cut, and orange course cut. I use meguiers cleaner wax & ultimate compound for 2K.
  6. Never owned a ninja foodie, but have owned their coffee makers. It’ll probably work just fine since it has that feature, but you use it for food etc? I’d def consider getting a separate one. But I bake my paint at 110f and never have had an issue, and I’ve done 120f before and never had an issue. I can cure 2K clear in bout 4 hours. One I own is called Klarstein off Amazon, and can usually be got for around $80+.
  7. I love Tamiya paints, but very seldom use there colors on car bodies. I use there semi-gloss black a ton as it’s the best I’ve seen, and there metallics are nice too all from the LP line. Slowly getting rid of the X line up.
  8. MCW is an automotive paint, and Tamiya TS & LP is not. Yes both lacquer, but different techniques use to spray both. Not saying you don’t know what you’re doing as I had issues with one of there interior colors. Could be a bad batch? Did you test it again on a test piece or spoon to see if same thing would happen? I know MCW uses low quality thinner too, but I think you should try first couple mist coats, and do the rest light wet coats. Did your order come with instructions?
  9. This came in today for the Kenworth W-900. Gonna use these on the new dump truck.
  10. For me it would be the same as my Lego hobby. Following directions, and watching it come to life as you build -While ending up with great display pieces. That since of pride like yes…I built that, Painting is also the great part of it as well. Since I’ve been in the hobby i always look at other car colors on the road, and if something catches my eye I look it up. I Never done that before until I’ve gotten into this hobby. Also just cleaning up a kit, and getting it ready for primer & paint just has that feeling to it that’s kind of hard to explain.
  11. If you want Tamiya LP lacquer line & Mr. Hobby lacquer line, and Mr. Surfacer line then Burbank house of hobbies, and scalehobbyist is the cheapest. If you want automotive paints well…..isn’t really a cheap way out. There’s quite a few already mentioned in the thread, but they aren’t the cheapest… but there some of the best you’ll get even gravity colors (Spain). I never understood why a lot of folks spend crazy money on something, and cheap out on what they need to get it done. Example high end speakers, etc just to cheap out on wiring. Don’t get me wrong it’ll work, but quality isn’t the same. P.S This is me thinking out loud nothing towards you OP.
  12. We never stop learning. One man’s lesson learned is another man’s knowledge.
  13. These arrived today. Typical revell & AMT quality.
  14. Probably work on it sometime. Finally got my moving situation sorted. It’s definitely gonna be BMF heavy.
  15. This came in today. Got it cheap, and box is damage, but all parts were sealed n great condition.
  16. I have a similar cabinet I got from Amazon. I use it to store sandpaper, Tamiya tape etc. Probably be upgrading in the near future for a nicer one wider like yours.
  17. People that have more money than sense are called " Whales". There the folks they spend spend spend on anything to save time or etc even though this situation is little different - I'm sure there banking on a random idiot lol.
  18. Ak sells both soft and hard
  19. Yeah it might of been USPS, but it's still weird. Almost makes me wanna do a order again just to see lol. Now that i think about it the tracking # was all numbers so I'm sure it was USPS. I always did my orders through PAYPAL through them, but I'm not sure if that explains why i had got tracking #'s.
  20. Looks pretty darn good even though looks little thick. Almost reminds me of spazstix.
  21. Na wasn't that long ago i haven't been in the hobby that long. I did get a tracking # through fedex or ups though it was one of the two. I remember when i ordered grabber orange from them twice, and each time i was able to track it via the tracking # through email. So this situation is kind of weird lol.
  22. I haven't ordered a lot from MCW, but the few times i did i always got a tracking number. I guess they changed? Been a long time since I've ordered anything from them, but you can always order there paint from hobbynutmodels too. Hobbylinc is def pretty slow the few times I've ordered from them, but always get what i ordered though no issues.
  23. That's where the bending pliers by tamiya would come in handy
