AFAIK this kit is discontinued and what's on the shelf is what remains. Considering Revell reissued the '91 Formula, the '68 Foose version, and the '77 T/A is about to drop, it makes sense. Even better would be if this were the last time we see the circa '91 Monogram 1/24 '70 T/A and they replace it with an all-new 1/25 scale kit.

Didn't Revell reissue the flatbed 1/16 trailer a decade ago or so? I see it's back up to $100+ on the secondary market again, though.

R&R Resin still pulling bodies?

Which wheels are on the rear? I'm guessing some type of "mag" wheel? The finned front drum brakes aren't a problem, IMHO, but the spoked wheels are-- both styles. Slap some mag style wheels on the front to match the rears and you're good. Is the paint Testor's Inca Gold?

Welcome back, Lane. Did you finish the pickup ('50 Chevy?) with the sandbags in the bed?

I do, the Revell CJ-series kit, which will be modified, but the decals were the hardest part.

Try it inside quotation marks: "spray booth" gives results with that exact term/word pair. I got five pages of results, including a few topics which were clearly about spray booths. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it does work.

That's interesting. I was looking at pics of the Carl Casper Phone Booth kit and found pics of the (earlier?) version with the Stroker McGurk figure included.

I picked up a built Fired Up Super Zinger in December, and have held the CB Freak kit in my hands, so yes, they were released.

Is the explanation of how to apply BMF from six years ago different than how it applied now, so different that it requires a new topic of its own? A lot of the redundant questions have already been answered, and some are even pinned in the TT&T section, yet people still post a new question. The answers aren't new, and they aren't outdated for the most part, so why discount what someone said in 2007 when the same answer will be posted by someone else in 2013? All that does is add more topics covering the exact same issue. Searching the 'site for the answer to your question is the best way to find out if the question has already been asked, and if so, what the answers were. It's not hard to scroll past a reply which provides no information or is no help in answering your question. That is a fact on message boards, and we can't force people to post only things which add new, valuable information and are truly on topic. The dehydrator and paint drying topic which is pinned is a good example. There are 13 pages of info and at least five different ways to use a dehydrator posted, yet once a month someone posts how to use a dehydrator to dry paint. The answers are already here, the question already answered. If there's no info to add to the dehydrator topic, please do, but how is it helpful to forum members to have seven topics asking the same question in the same forum section? Now, if you're thinking about a message list type forum where what's posted is gone forever after a month, then I can totally understand it, but on a forum such as this where posts remain and can be viewed even if they are from 2006, that line of thinking doesn't apply. Good tips, sound advice, and accurate information is just as valid in 2013 and it was in 2006. If the Q&A and TT&T sections are going to remain separate, I suggest they be clearly and specifically defined so that there is very little overlap, but whatever is decided, we'll make it work. As for the search function here on the 'site, it's not perfect, but I find clicking on the white flower/star thing to the right, which takes you to the advanced search function page, is pretty good at helping you find what you need using keywords. Using the search function would help a lot with redundant questions, but you have to have some experience here to know where the advanced search function is found. The search box is ridiculously easy to find, though, so that's half the battle.

lowrider suspension, set up?help?please?
Casey replied to ERIK88's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
The AMT '70 Monte Carlo lowrider version provides posable suspension for each corner from what I remember seeing on the instruction sheet, so you could buy one, use the lo-lo suspension on your Imps, and go dragster with the Monte. -
Need help with wheels.

Can you post a pic of the real wheels you're looking for in scale, please? -
Monogram 1/24 '85 Camaro Z-28 -- Decent Kit?
Casey replied to Chief Joseph's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61663&hl=camaro The body looks really good/accurate to me, so yeah, it's definitely worth using as the starting point for an IROC-Z. It's more of an advanced snap-together kit, but the basic shape and layout is on par with Monogram's '70 Challenger T/A kit IMHO. -
Good stuff on that one, Phil. If the MPC Wankel Engine Voting Booth was ever released, this is going in the obscure kit thread...but I don't think it ever was. Looks like it may have been based on the Carl Casper Phone Booth kit:

Assuming these will be 1/25 scale, can they be upscaled to 1/16?

How To Do It - Questions, Answers, Tips & Techniques for Building Models Not an easy one to title.

That's one of the main reasons I agree that the two section should become one, as others have suggested in this topic. There is a lot of overlap, and both are basically "How To" type sections. There's not much difference between a "How do I strip Testors enamel paint?" and "Here's how I use SuperClean to strip paint", though each fits into a different section the way they are posted. I like the idea of those two sections (or one ) being moved up the forum page, too, as I think that technical knowledge is one of the main reasons people visit this forum. Plus, the knowledge and information in that section is what forms the core of a forum such as this. Good, helpful, accurate information on how to build models is timeless, universal, and something we all can learn from, no matter how long we've been building.

I had no idea 'til I Googled it, then I found this: after reading this: http://memorylanebuilders.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=show&action=display&thread=297
