The roll/light bar with two integral driving lights are for....? Surely not the ramp truck version: Same question for the parts peeking out from under the ramp bed floor pieces in the below image. I haven't looked over any of the existing Moebius Ford pickup kits, so apologies if these are old news:

I think so. I don't think they were part of the ECTO-1 version. Not really sure what they are supposed to be, but someone here probably does. Yes. This should be the third kit to include them after the previous Ford Surf Van. -

Steve G would know. I'm sure we'll see a built up before too long, and maybe some images of the parts themselves. The body, frame/floor, clear parts interior, etc. should all be the same as the previous curbside release, so the all-new(?) engine and restored (or all new?) retro customizing bits and accessories are still a mystery. -
Be patient. It takes time: Model Cars Magazine Hi friends of MCM, There has been some talk recently about when the first issue of a subscription gets delivered, some of that talk very negative. Let me clarify the process for you: New subscriptions to MCM generally take six to eight weeks to process. Once a subscription is received, the first issue of that subscription to be sent out is the NEXT issue to be published, not the CURRENT one. For example, if you subscribed in April 2021, when the current issue was #208, your subscription will start with issue #209 (due late June) which is the next to be published. I do not see this changing in the foreseeable future, however, once we are up and running with our new subscription management system, there may be some improvement. Please bear in mind MCM is not a big corporate entity like Kalmbach or Time Life. We are a small business endeavoring to produce the best and most relevant model car magazine for our worldwide audience. Things don't happen immediately as much as some of us would like. That said, we appreciate your patience as we continue to get up to speed. As always, if you are unsatisfied with MCM, you can request a refund. Thank you for your support of MCM. We will continue to improve the magazine in quality, content, and of course, delivery. Best regards, Larry Greenberg Associate Editor MODEL CARS Magazine

With which other kit are they going to amortize the Mooneyes licensing hit? AFAIK, there's no phantom Jocko Johnson bodies streamliner kit, and is anyone really clamoring for a reissue of the Jim Dunn Dodge Avenger Mooneyes F/C from the '00s? I'm not doubting the '60s era Mooneyes dragster isn't going to be a smash hit with the AARP crowd, but it seems like a one-and-done deal on that licensing agreement. I suspect a second run will happen, and maybe a third? Time will tell. I think we're really talking about the .001% of the model building community here, to be honest. Unless you are over 65, have a 30+ year history of building models non-stop, reading the model-specific magazines, and are well versed in Revell's history, Jim Keeler's name isn't going to mean much to you. I think many of us here can appreciate the name-dropping tie-in, and admittedly, that is the market Atlantis is aiming squarely at with this 'series', but I have to be honest and suggest the potential sales volume is limited from the start. I guess this might finally be the real world test of the "if the vintage Revell double kits were reissue, I'd buy a case of each!!" crowd, and I honestly hope the sales numbers bankroll Atlantis for the next three years...but I'll be cautiously optimistic at this point. I think Atlantis' customer target has been the 60+ year old crowd from the start. They are pulling at those nostalgic heart strings twice as hard, and while that type pf strategy isn't sustainable for long, I hope (and suspect it will/does) work out well for them in the short term. They are really mining the niche market which Revell seems to have willingly abandoned, and which Round2 has previously shown exists, and perhaps more importantly, can turn a profit. Atlantis has a decade plus of old molds for which to produce retro kits, so they'll be fine for a while. I'd dare say they'll run out of customers before they run out of subjects/kits to reissue. Dude. ?

It's not. Someone from Atlantis mentioned raw plastic costs had increased considerably, so the days of $50 standard model kits are likely not that far away. -

Any news of Revell do something this year !
Casey replied to Mr mopar's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Could very well be a Revell 1/25 Z/28 Camaro, like so: Sounds like it might be a new variant-- the hardtop body combined with the BBC pieces from the convertible kit, which did have the 396 BBC: I was hoping for the Street Rat version of the '66 Malibu SS, but it sounds like it'll be the other one: -

To be clear, I reposted what I saw on Round2's facebook page, so anyone who follows them has probably already seen the list they released. Are you sure? ? I bought one in ...2011 maybe?, when the were less than $10 on eBay, strictly out of curiosity. It's a very odd subject, but if you need a 1/20 scale Gurney-Weslake SBF, you definitely need this kit. I saved a few of the pulleys/rollers, but nothing else. I was a bit surprised to see this kit announced, but considering Round2 has now come full circle, reissuing several of their initial issues (which ,were reissues...) like the Stingeree, '70 Super Bee, and now the Rupp Sno-Sport, maybe I shouldn't be. The initial batch from Round2 in 2008: I would think the latter. New decals, box, etc., and there's a new kit.
