  1. Maybe on the Revell '59 Corvette decal sheet? Hard to make out in this low quality image, but maybe numbers 24?:
  2. No, I haven't seen any images of these newly announce kit yet, but I would imagine it will be much the same as the Bad Company version, with a set of pre-printed raised white letter tires, maybe that set of five spoke, chrome plated wheels they included in the forthcoming Ford Surfer Van, and new decals. Here's the base kit, and previous release:
  3. Good question(s), but I have to believe the 4070A will sell well enough on its own for Round2 to recoup their investment, and sales on a straight reissue of the 4070B are a bonus. Guess we'll have to see once the new -A is out and people start kitbashing it with the -B to see how well the two play together. Not a bad problem to have of they don't, really. All of the above is assuming Round2 can reissue the 4070B, of course, which may or may not be the case.
  4. I doubt the masses would either notice nor care. As long as it's molded in taxi cab yellow with NYC and other cab decals, it'll sell.
  5. You never want to use anything permeable to stir either resin or silicone rubber, but stainless butter knives are $.10 each at Goodwill, and almost always available.
  6. Yes, it looked like magenta on magenta to me, but figured someone might be interested, and they don't seem to pop up all that frequently. Those extended headlight housings, tho...? To each their own. *edit* Will we be seeing this one in the WDYGT topic in a few days???
  7. Don't think this is a flip, but in case anyone is looking, stumbled across this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-RENWAL-107-198-1966-Pierce-Arrow-66-Revival-series-1-25-Built-Rare/184623114161?hash=item2afc6527b1%3Ag%3A5NUAAOSwLEdgAkST&LH_BIN=1
  8. Not sure which Jeep was referred to in the FSM article, but the Stevens International reissue of the MPC Jeep Commando was released under the AMT label in 200...6(?), like so. This kit DOES include the larger diameter Formula Desert Dog PCV tires:
  9. Nice, '37 Chevy 1/10 scale master buck, too.
  10. That seems to be the case. ? Not sure if they will tool up an all-new roof sign, meter, etc., but I think that would fit their recent pattern of creating some all new detail parts to include in existing kits-- new push bumper for MPC Dodge Monaco, for example. They could re-use the taxi parts for future re-issues of the '67 Impala 4-door sedan and MPC Dodge Monaco, too.
  11. I meant the O.D. of the wheel you are trying to find a tire to match. If the .620" I.D of the tires you were sent is too small, you must be looking for a tire with a larger bore diameter than .620", so I can measure other tires I have if I know the specific dimensions you need.
  12. POL990M/12 - Polar Lights Speed Racer Mach V 1/12 Model Kit
  13. Fight! Fight!! ? Caliper don't lie. ? What's the O.D. (at the bead) of the wheels you are using, Pete?
  14. I actually saw it on a flyer someone in France was selling, so perhaps that was the address of one of AMT's overseas distributors? I have seen Lesney-era catalogs and such printed in German, but not sure if that was done in French and/or other languages earlier than that. Here's the scan of the last page, showing the Pontius Ave address, and the full 1968 AMT brochure scans can be found here: https://modelkitreviews.proboards.com/thread/1542/amt-1967-brochure
  15. 1/25 MPC '71 Chevrolet Racer's Wedge/Pick-Up:
  16. 1/25 MPC '72 Cheyenne Pick-Up Truck:
  17. 1/25 MPC 1970 Chevy Pickup Truck:
  18. This whole situation still confuses me a bit. It's never been clear if there was co-designing happening at the time or more accurately the AMT right of first refusal for then-new MPC kit which led to semi-overlapping releases? Now, what remains seems to be a mish-mash of both AMT and MPC, which might've actually been the same all along. Here are pics I found online of the 1/25 MPC 1968 Fleetside Chevy Custom Pick-Up Sports Truck (a what!???):
  19. Mentioned once or twice in this topic, too: I would love to have a new sheet with that vintage Standard Oil logo instead of the Union 76 or Texaco logos.
