Wow that BAE hemi is real statement piece. I like the black wheels with the gray primer. Nice job ?

This is a box stock build of the big John Mazmanian Barracuda funny car kit. It’s painted with testors clear red over a gold base enamel. These polar lights were very well done and even came with slixx decals. It would be nice to see round 2 make up some more issues of this kit’s chassis with different bodies. Possibly a nova or a camaro or a Torino or a maverick body as the atlas oil tool special. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike

Great job on the red white & blue. I love the old johan kits too

I really like the use of the revell 57 nomad as a gasser . This really inspires me to build a gasser by kit bashing the 57 body with the amt 55 kit

Great level of detail it looks you really nailed the color, and the rolled down drivers window is a nice touch. Trophies are well earned.

I think it would be better to get a stock 64 Malibu instead

Hey thanks -
Great looking gasser I really like the color you used, and your wheel and tire combo really make it.

This build consists of the fantastic mpc grumpy’s toy pro stock Vega . The small block engine long block is from the amt 1970 Z-28 camaro. The paint color it testors metallic blue enamel topped with slixx decals. This magazine issue has a great reference article with color photos. Until next time thanks for looking ?. Mike

I started building this something like 35 years ago. When mpc reissued the 1969 barracuda kit. I painted the body from this kit with testors champagne gold enamel topped with Fred cady decals. Both have been long discontinued. I started building a chassis from square stock , the 69 kit’s interior shell with the back part of the floor cut out , and some parts from the little red wagon kit. Then the project stalled. A couple of years ago I purchased a box of glue bomb hemi under glass parts the best part was the original 1969 box . Then last year I was able to purchase the even harder to find original 1968 box that included some more random pieces. I got my finished painted body out clear coated it then put together a chassis, and drivetrain of original hemi under glass parts. I was able to use the original back window glass from the original kit with the molded in hold down pins. I’m really happy with how it looks. Until next time thanks for looking, mike

This project was a combination of a stock height resin cast 1933 Willy’s body from joe at Fremont Resin. It’s topped with testors orange enamel. I used the amt Ohio George 33 Willy’s gasser for my parts kit. The ford FE engine is from my parts box with custom made headers. Until next time thanks for looking ?, Mike

It will look really cool with white steel wheels -
Nice falcon one of my favorite kits it looks really good with the carburetors . All you need is a old ford wagon to tow it.
-
It sure looks pretty on that matching ramp truck. Nice job ?

I built this using the very good revell kit. The rear wheels are from revell’s thunderbolt. The white wall slicks are AMT . The headers are also AMT from the 62 bel air super stock kit. The decals came from MCW. Sadly I think they are no longer available.

Yours looks fantastic. I built mine when it first came out. Using ferd caddy decals . When we still had local hobby shops in are area I was able to get it displayed in the hobby shop in the Montgomeryville mall . It stayed there until the store closed.

Oh don’t let the pesky doors stop you I glued mine shut. Also I started mine sometime in the early 90’s and it sat for all these years because I was intimidated by the doors, and I was afraid I couldn’t get a smooth paint job. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for the nice complement
