Super clean, super sweet! Thanks for posting.
  2. Oh Gustavo, I love your build big time, but I hate the memory it conjures up....1988, a neighbor offers me his mint GTO exactly as depicted by your model with 36k on the odometer for $7000, and I tell him I'll only buy it for $6500. We never make the deal, and I spend the rest of my life regretting my decision Oh well, stories about "the fish that got away" can still be good stories all the same...
  3. Ray, being that I'm from Las Vegas myself, I think you and I have seen our fair share of oldies that have spent their whole lives in the desert. They get a sort of patina that is not quite rat rod, and not quite Bonneville Salt Flats racer. I think your model hit that look right on the money! I love your build and will certainly be "borrowing" a bit of your look for a future build
  4. Bob, it turned out great, and the outdoor photos are the "money shots" for showing off that great color! Well done Sir
  5. Sweet!
  6. Great build, but that color is exquisite! Thanks for posting.
  7. Love 'em both, but I'm rooting for grandpa to win the race!
  8. Way cool Mario!
  9. Jason, great job on your build. After I saw your pictures, I pulled my 1:24 Yellowbird out of the display case and immediately crushed it out of embarrassment!
  10. Thirty years ago I became a cop, and my agency assigned me my initials and badge number as my employee ID. Four years ago I took my retirement and moved west for warmer pastures and a retirement gig as a criminal investigator, but no matter how many other badges I am assigned, I will forever think of myself as ea0863.
  11. Harry, I'm not sure which I love more - the build itself, or the fantastic photography! If I had built this beauty, it would be front-and-center in my display case!
  12. Great looking Deuce, and perfect level of detail. Thank you for posting!
  13. The Touch of the Master's Hand is evident in this build! Thank you for posting this beauty.
  14. So way cool! Great build and a great choice from a rather overlooked era in cars! Thank you for posting
  15. Francis, I totally enjoyed following your build, and am almost disappointed it is completed! Such stunning work, and it is so easy to forget when looking at your photos that the entire thing is only about 9" long. I remember when you made the ignition resistor and it barely registered on your fingertip. Thank you for the education, the inspiration, and the opportunity to get to know you a little in the process. Well done Sir!
  16. Very cool rendition. Thank you for posting!
  17. That interior is out of this world!
  18. Both are cool, but the little rat rod is extra kool!
  19. I'm watching this build with great interest! And I love the trick with the pill bottle. Thanks for keeping us up to speed!
  20. Aw man, now I gotta get me one of those. Great job on this build!

    Stewed

Looks awesome! Has to be twice as hard to get it looking grungy as to get a gloss finish.
  22. Fantastic build! And that vignetted black and white photo is just perfect.
  23. Sweet!
