Thanks James. I'll look forward to seeing it. -
Thanks Rex. I didn't know about the 67 super snake. The internet only mentions that there 'may' have been some cammers offered by Shelby in 68. Cheers, David. ??

Very cool. Lots of details. I like the manual fuel pump in the cockpit. Great work Bil. Cheers, David. ??

Cool build Gerald. I agree with Dan Hay about fitting the bill of a moonshine car. High power, low key. In Australia we effectionaly call this model Ford the "single spinner" for obvious reasons. Again, cool sleeper. Cheers, David. ??

Thanks Mike. It just goes to show not to trust everything you read online. Cheers, David. ??

Thanks Mark. I bought this kit about 20 years ago as one of a four pack sold at Kmart in Australia. I would have built it long ago if I had known it would look this good built.

Nice build Dave. I love the colour you chose. I painted mine ts22 light green like the box art as that's what attracted me to purchase it. The white interior suits your build. Cheers, David.??

G'day all. Here I have my AMT/ERTL 1968 Shelby GT500 which I built about two months ago. I wanted to present it with the rare 427sohc option. I'm not sure if it was a factory option but I believe a few did have this engine. For it to fit, the hood had to be opened up, which I did but opted to use a scoop from my parts box to make it look more like Shelby might have done it if it was offered to the public. Please excuse the messy masking job, I had a bit of trouble with it. Exhaust was built with spare parts but looks wrong. Anyway, thanks for looking. All feedback encouraged and appreciated. Cheers, David ??

Nice build Robert. I like how you include the factory quality assurance markings on the rear axle. Cheers, David. ??

Like bbowser said, it's all about the fun.

Outstanding! These old compacts were popular with the gassers as they were lightweight. The paint is incredible and represents it's 1:1 origins well. I've built this kit way back in the 80s but sadly lost it in a house move. Another nice kit is the revell Thames panel gasser. Mine needs a rebuild but would be well worth it. Again, great British gasser. Cheers, David. ??

I've never thought of building a 3rd generation vette but your build has got me thinking. Great job and nice detail. Cheers, David. ?? -
Nice build James. I like the blacked out hood. I have the AMT 72 Nova and was unsure how to build it. Now I'm sure I'll be building it for the strip. Cheers, David. ??

Looking good James. When using Molotow pens I found that I have to run it slowly so it pools or let it dry and run it over again but they do tend to loose their gloss. God speed to your wife for a quick recovery.

Cool. Love the windows. Nice build. It has a 70s look with a modern spin. ?? -
Hi Stephen, your post touched my heart. I lost my father suddenly when I was twelve. It's great to see father son projects like these. Your styles are so different but equally pleasing. Your fathers hot rod build reminds me of those wild customs of the late 50s and 60s that teenagers would build from junkyard parts on the cheap. Always cherish what you have with your father, it's special.

G'day guys. Fresh off the bench is my Revell '37 Ford panel delivery. I've built it in the street rod style with a Halloween theme. Her name is Sabrina and she has an independent front suspension set up with lowered spindles. Rear is coil spring. Her power comes from a supercharged Tempest 4 cylinder sourced from the Revell Micky Thompson 'Attempt 1 record car' kit. Her colour is Tamiya ts72 clear blue over ts65 pearl clear over ts14 gloss black. Graphics are skulls with some dry brushing for effect using gloss black over ts30 silver leaf then the pearl clear and clear blue. I added Aussie number plates of my home state of New South Wales. This build can be viewed in WIP. Thanks for watching and all feedback is welcomed. Cheers, David. ? ?
