  3. Thank you. ☺️
  4. Mine still hasn't arrived in Southern California. When should I get concerned. My #222 copy I had to request a replacement because it didn't arrive, gotta love usps.
  5. Finished the final and 5th build of our family Mustangs. With this new pictures taken.
  6. I was able to get an A23 12V battery and holder to fit in the battery compartment I created. This is the final post for WIP. You can see the Model Showcase thread here with much better pictures. This is the A23 in place
  7. I finally finished the build of my 2018 Mustang Convertible. This is build 5 of our 5 Mustangs in our family. Kitbash of Revell snap kit and a Motor Max diecast used for parts as well as a lot of scratch built parts. I have been using 3V coin batteries for my LEDs but this build required an A23 12V battery. if you haven’t seen the WIP thread see it here:
  8. I generally have added LEDs to my builds, including gauge lights. My next build is going to be a 1974 Corvette Convertible. Any good reference images site and what color were the gauge lights? I see a lot of LED replacements out there, but that's no help.
  9. As luck would have it there so no way to get the 9v battery to fit in the car so now I am looking into alternatives. I think an A23 battery might fit so I have some on order with holders. I have the car assembled otherwise. Installed the LED wiring harness and finished assembly, but still need to solve the battery situation. The lighting looks good in my option, just hope I can hide a battery in a compartment.
  10. I got some work done on the body today. Time for assembly. photo-etch grill, chrome decal horse painted trim flat black, painted & detailed inner headlight. Chrome decal horse on back panel.
  11. Being a Mustang lover myself looking forward to seeing what you do.
  12. Finished up what there is of a chassis and the interior today. Added seat belts and created the gauge lenses for LEDs. Next it’s time to wet sand and polish the body.
  13. Got the body in 2K clear today. Now to wait a few days before wet sanding and polishing. No runs and only a couple specs in the hood that should sand out nicely.
  14. Absolutely beautiful interior detail work!
  15. Nice backstory. ?
  16. Beautiful collection of great builds.
  17. Beautiful and great period color choice.
  18. I actually thought the roughness gave them some great patina look.
  19. Turned out very nice IMHO, the seats look amazing.
  20. Still getting over Covid but got a little work done this weekend. The 3v coin battery was just not enough power to run all the lights I need for this build so I am going with 9v power. Being a curbside I have room to put the battery where the engine would go. The pico lights were also not enough light so I completely redid the LED wiring harness with all 1.8mm bulbs. I also did the interior carpet flocking. And got a base coat of J7 2018 Ford Magnetic metallic paint on the body and rear view mirrors. Using actual ford touch up paint, thinnedand airbrushed, the metallic particles are going to be a bit large for 1/25 scale but it’s the best match I can think of. Still need to 2K clear and polish but I think it is looking pretty good so far.
  21. I am lighting up the side marker lights but not making them flash.
  22. Coming along nicely. Interior looks great.
  23. Created the LED wiring harness. That pretty much finishes up the fabrication phase, next on to paint.
  24. I am often surprised at the quality of paint jobs people get out of Krylon paints. Great job!
  25. Beautiful build. Especially love the interior work!
